A demake of Void Termina's fourth theme, Hope of Birth, from Kirby: Star Allies. I included the MIDI I created for it below this, since I see that most people who remix the song have trouble transcribing parts of the backing, such as the electric piano and the guitar, and I figure I might as well throw them a bone. It might still have some inaccuracies, but it's as close as I could get it by ear.

Not what I was originally going for, but holy crap did I make it sound even better! I have never tried attempting a REAL chiptune cover of any Pokemon theme due to inexperience. And after fiddling around with a VST, I found myself being reminded of the old NES/SNES days. This piece is really haunting and nostalgic for Pokemon lovers.  I felt like with the whole 8-bit era feel, it intensifies it even more...

The second of my three entries to the Homestuck Music Contest, the other two being <a href="http://soundcloud.com/konec0/vodka-mutiny">Vodka Mutiny</a> and <a href="http://soundcloud.com/konec0/daywalker-rise">Daywalker ~Rise~</a>.

This one actually got in! It can be found on <a href="http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/album/colours-and-mayhem-universe-b">coloUrs and mayhem: Universe B</a>, the second of two albums released as a result of the contest.

I love pulling genre bait-and-switch and I totally do the same going from dance music to orchestral thing I did in "<a href="http://soundcloud.com/konec0/through-the-seventh-gate-lofaf">Land of Frost and Frogs</a>". This one has added chiptune flavor, though. And portamento to simulate drunken hiccups!

Also: this actually isn't the album version. I updated it because the album version was actually over-compressed; I'm still not sure how I let that pass...
