Buckethead is one of my biggest musical influences, if not the biggest, and his work is a big reason why I am such a big music person today. One of my favorite songs of his is Big Sur Moon, a beautiful track that uses heavy delay and up-picking.  This is my take on that song, a little tribute if you will. It is relatively simple, but that is intentional because I didn't want to take away from the beautiful melody.

I also experimented with some 12-tone elements (although, the song isn't pure serialism... I'm sorry but I just couldn't do that lol) to try and simulate an eerie ambiance.

It's another dubstep track of mine where there's more of a flow and it's not as choppy, and the mix probably isn't my best, but again, the song's about a year and a half old so keep that in mind.

I guess you could call this a sequel to Just One Night as it shares a very happy vibe to it. Very simple house tune that I made using instruments suggested by some fans on twitter (Drums, Clarinet, Trumpet, Contrabass, Card Shuffling sound effect, and Minecraft Cow Moo sound effect). Not the most rounded out track in the world, but still fun to make.

I stayed true to the original piano melody that he wrote and processed it with some electronic elements. Never touched a classical piece before so this me going a little outside of my comfort zone but hey, let me know what you think.

ShadowBeatz - Charon

This song started out with a really ambient vibe to it and wasn't actually supposed to have drums in it at all, but I caved and added some faster parts. Pretty chill and I feel like it gives a nice chilly, winter feeling, hence the name.

Frost

This was going to actually be a hip-hop beat for a song that I was going to make making fun of people who think they're leet on CoD, buuuuut I couldn't come up with any lyrics and I hit a wall with producing the beat so it just kinda ended up here.

ShadowBeatz - Pubstar

The musical ADD really flowed with this track. Starts out with some jazz (ish) sounds with a sax (best sax sound I could find in Reason) and then kinda just goes in a different direction. Another chill song that I'm kinda sad I hit a wall with, but still enjoyable to listen to for what it is.

ShadowBeatz - Phantom Winds

The beat to "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor is probably my favorite instrumental in hip-hop, so a few years ago I tried to make a remix of it with guitar sounds and my own touch. (I was planning to ask Chaos350 to lay down the guitar for it to get a better guitar sound but never really got around to it).  Never really got the drums to sound the way I wanted to as well, so this track has just been kinda sitting on my hard drive for 2+ years. Figure I might as well upload it.

Fort Minor - Remember the Name [ShadowBeatz Remix]

This is actually the main theme to a movie a friend of mine produced. I actually did the soundtrack and it was a really fun project. This song turned out the best though. The reason I didn't upload this as its own song is because the bass sounds at the drop are just chopped up loops that I got in a sample pack. They aren't my own sounds so I never really felt right calling this my own song. It was still fun to experiment with and I still think it sounds really cool despite that, so i threw it in here.

I wrote this song in 13/8, a time signature I've been trying with for a while and I think this turned out pretty well. Song's also in a major key too. Most of my songs are in minor. Had a lot of fun experimenting and I hope you enjoy.

Okay, so basically Mimikyu is pretty much the coolest pokemon they've ever made (yes, even cooler than Sandslash) and when I heard his cry in the game, I instantly thought of a rhythm for a song. After building on top of it, this is result. Hope you enjoy it. It's not full on trance but I wanted to use smoother transitions so the song just kinda flowed better.

Awhile ago I played Valkyria Chronicles and discovered a favorite character who's voice lines kicked ass, and so I started on a song using some of my favorite lines by her. Credit to Laura Bailey who (I'm pretty sure... can't find anything to confirm it but I'm fairly certain it was her) who kicked ass voicing Wendy.

Hey hey. Recently I've been into trying to make songs that would fit as background music for games, and that's what this song started out as. The beginning was heavily inspired by the DDLC soundtrack, but it was a bit too happy so I mixed in some melancholy into the chorus. Couldn't resist the Chiaki sound byte either.

So the story behind this track is I heard a song that my dad was listening to in which the singer just repeated some nonsense phrase over and over, so I went on a stream and asked my chat for a random phrase, and "pig sheet with tide pods" was born. Some more lyrics were written by the people and chucked into Vocaloid and we got this. It started out as a parody of "deep" lyrics but I'd be lying if I say I didn't like how it turned out. Enjoy.
