Amara Denis Turay, most commonly known as Kao Denero is a Sierra Leonean Afro Hip Hop artist born on October 17th, 1985 in Lungi, Sierra Leone. 

He is a Peace Ambassador acknowledged by the Government of Sierra Leone. He is a legendary artist and highly regarded for his versatility in making hits on all genres of music.

From being a refugee from Sierra Leone to the United States of America to hitting the world through his music, Kao has had a spectacular career in his 15 years stint as a musical icon, winning many local and international awards and nominations. 

He is the most consistent artist from his country and has recorded significant successes in performances in his country, filling his country’s national stadium many times in succession. 
He holds the record for being the only Sierra Leonean artist with 10 studio albums. Producing back to back hit songs, Kao Denero has also done exclusive international collaborations with some of the biggest names in African and global music, such as Shabba Ranks (Grammy Award-winning artist), Sarkodie (Two times BET Award-winning artist), Busy Signal (Top Jamaican Dancehall artist, and leading figure of Lovers’ Rock),  Runtown (Afrobeat Artist from Nigeria topping major charts across Africa), etc. 
In 3 months, Kao set a record for being the fastest Sierra Leonean artist to hit a million views on YouTube for his video with Runtown titled, “Green Gold.”

Recently, Kao worked with Grammy Award-winning Producer and Produce of “Drunk in Love” for Beyonce featuring Jay Z, Bryan Soko, to produce Kao’s hot new single titled “Never.”   
October 5th this year, Kao Denero performed at the Nigeria Independence Day Parade in New York. 

On top of his hot releases in 2020, Kao also released a Track dissing Kenyas Well Known Rapper, Khaligraph Jones. It became the most trending track in the Sierra Leone and Africa Hip Hop communities. Which everyone is talking about. Kao has proven once again that he's got unlimited ammo in the bank and is ready for 2020.
