Sinking Like A Stone

Shadow Mountains are a 4-piece rock band from Liverpool, UK. Formed in 2024, Shadow Mountains features members Lee Glynn - Vox/Guitars (ex Sound Of Guns), Jack McAllister - Guitars, Jake Marray - Bass and James Lorenzo - Drums.

Shadow Mountains’ new single “Sinking Like a Stone” drops 10 October 2025. 

Mixed by Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild) and featuring a live orchestra, it explores the weight of adult responsibilities too young. 

The Liverpool four‑piece—fronted by Lee Glynn (ex‑Sound of Guns) with Jack Mac, Jake Marray and James Lorenzo—blends heavy riffs with melodic hooks and a cinematic feel that is hard to categorise. 

Their singles “Foxholes” and “Changing Tides” earned This Feeling’s Track of the Week. Influenced by U2, Foo Fighters & Queens Of The Stone Age, the band is rolling out a cinematic video and a UK tour, including the Cavern Club and Deaf Institute, ahead of an early 2026 EP.
