Idea Shadow Places jest zorganizowana wokół nastroju. Ten, dyskretny, melancholijny, często rozmarzony przyświeca nam kiedy poszukujemy muzyki.
Cień to dobre miejsce, daje ochłodę i schronienie. Jest miejscem bezpiecznym, a zarazem daje wygodne pole do obserwacji. Jest dyskretny i miękki, nie ma w nim jaskrawych barw.

Uwielbiamy kiedy muzyka ma taka siłę, że zmienia nasza percepcję, kiedy naznacza nas i sięga do naszych serc. Z tej miłości powstał pomysł Shadow Places, realizowany jako składanki z dobrą muzyką i jako inicjatywy koncertowe.
Za ich pomocą próbujemy pokazać wam, nam... wszystkim, jak wiele odcieni ma półmrok. Ile w nim jest delikatności, ile niedopowiedzeń, dróg na opak, wprost i splątanych ścieżek. Zabieramy was w półświatła, w uniwersum w którym to wasza wrażliwość podpowiada drogi i kierunki. Poszukujemy takiej muzyki, wydobywamy ją po to byście mogli odbyć taką podróż z nami.
Nie proponujemy łatwych rozwiązań, nie dajemy oczywistych wskazań - na własny sposób opowiadamy sobie i wam melancholię, smutek, chcemy byście na chwilę się zatrzymali i zobaczyli że nie trzeba krzyczeć.
Dajemy wam muzykę - ta jest bowiem najdoskonalszym językiem, zrozumiałym mimo różnic słów, narodów, organizacji społecznych, religii, płci, obyczajów i uzusu, przemawiającym do nas smakiem... bo wiecie przecież że dźwięk ma smak, prawda?
Nie ma znaczenia skąd jesteś - jeżeli czujesz, że dźwięk jest totalny i potrafi definiować pojęcia które zaledwie przeczuwamy, przyłącz sie do Shadow Places i razem z nami eksploruj miejsca których istnienie być może przeczuwasz, ale w jakich nigdy nie byleś.

The idea behind Shadow Places is the mood. This soft, melancholic and often dreamy one guides us in our search.
Shadow is a perfect place - it gives us with refreshment and shelter. It is a secure place, which also provides a convenient observation point. It is soft and unobtrusive, without bright colors.

We love when music has the power to change our perception, to mark us and reach to our hearts. The idea of Shadow Places arose from this love and is carried out as music compilations and as live initiatives.

With their help we try to show you, us... everyone how many shades semidarkness has. How much delicacy, how many allusions, how many tangled paths that lead the wrong way round. We take you into halflihts, into the univerese where your own sensitivity will lead the way. We search for such music, we dig it out so you could embark on this journey together with us.
We propopse neither easy solutions nor obvious directions - we tell us and you in our own way melancholy and sorrow. We want you to stop for a moment and to see that one doesn't need to shout.
We give you music - becaue it is the most perfect language which is comprehensible despite differences between words, nationalities, organizations, religions, sexes and customs and which speaks to us by taste... you know that sound has its own taste, right?

It doesn't matter where are you from - if you feel that the sound is total and has the power to define notions that we can barely sense, join Shadow Places and together with us explore the places, existence of which you can maybe sense, but which you have never seen.

Neither have we.
