OK Naledi is an Afro House music project created by Queer, Motswana Canadian musician Naledi Sunstrum.

Traditional sub-Saharan clean guitar lines, classic deep bass, movement-inspiring beats and that iconic, driving Afro House tempo – these are the pieces that define OK Naledi.

Emerging on the Ottawa music scene in February 2022, OK Naledi has already had incredible performance opportunities and support. From Bluesfest to a Pride Mainstage performance, opening for JulyTalk at HOPE Summerfest to an Axé World Fest performance at the National Arts Centre as well as a Nomination for Newcomer of the Year at the Capital Music Awards. OK Naledi est un projet de musique Afro House créé par lea musicien·ne canado-botswanais·e queer Naledi Sunstrum.

Des lignes subsahariennes clairement traditionnelles de guitare, une basse classique profonde, des rythmes propices au mouvement et ce tempo entraînant emblématique de l’Afro House – voilà ce qui définit la musique d’OK Naledi.

Apparu·e sur la scène musicale d’Ottawa en février 2022, OK Naledi a déjà eu l’occasion de se produire et de bénéficier d’un soutien incroyable. OK Naledi s’est produit·e au festival Bluesfest, a joué sur la scène principale des célébrations du mois de la Fierté, a fait la première partie de JulyTalk au HOPE Summerfest, a participé au Axé World Fest au Centre national des Arts et a été mis·e en nomination pour le prix Nouvel artiste de l’année aux Prix de la musique de la capitale. OK Naledi vient de sortir son premier album, BONES, qui a été présenté à guichets fermés au Centre national des Arts et entame une tournée pour son album.
