This is what happens when you live in a house with a bunch of really nice recording equipment in it (thanks Will!) and you and two of your equally bored friends (thanks El and Casey) decide to record a song for no reason at all. Just because it's a great song and you want to attempt to emulate the recording of a great song. I don't know that any of us really knew what we were doing, but I always thought this was one of those nights where everything fell into place. It's not that it's the greatest recording ever, but it feels good and that's sometimes what is so elusive. It captured the spirit of the moment. I'm guessing that this was around fall of 2008. I remember we were calling ourselves Wharlots that night and were planning on starting a band together, but this is as far as we got. I found this on a CD-R while packing up to move offices and felt like sharing. Enjoy!
