I made a twelve-song variety bundle package that as a chef I could only compare to donuts – I also thought of a dozen eggs and then thought – "nah". Donuts are more of a fitting theme for this project on many levels. Primarily, these are twelve songs that all sound sweet. They each carry similar foundations, yet vibrate different “fillings”. They also match the soft pastel dad hat era and a time where I had just began living in the valley of CA, surrounded by donut shops. SoundBites is also a play on the words sound bytes. Thus, I’m using bars, adlibs, and phrases to respond to production, build and shape my brand sonically & politically.
