من قصيدة "خطبة الهندي الأحمر" - من ديوان أحد عشر كوكبًا للشاعر محمود درويش 

وَ نَحن نُوَدِّعُ نيرانَنا , لا نَرُدُّ التَّحِيُةَ ... لا تَكْتُبوا علينا وَصايا الإِلهِ الجديدِ , إِلهِ الحديدِ , ولا تطلُبوا مُعاهَدةً للسَّلامِ مِنَ الميِّتينَ , فلَم يَبْقَ منَهُمْ أَحَدْ
يُبَشَّرُكَمْ بالسَّلامِ مَعَ النَّفْسِ والآخرين , وكُلنَّا هُنا نُعمِّرُ أَكْثَرَ , لَوْلا بَنادِقُ إنجلترا والنَّبيذُ الفرنْسي والإنفلونزا , وكُنّا نَعيشُ كما يَنْبَغي أَنْ نَعيشَ بِرُفْقَة شَعْب الغَزال 
وَنَحْفَظُ تاريخَنا الشَّفَهِيَّ , وَكُنَّا نُبَشِّرُكُمْ بالبَراءَةِ والأُقْحُوان ..
لكُمْ رَبُّكم ولنا ربَّنا , وَلَكُّم أَمْسُكُمْ ولنا أَمْسُنا , والزَّمان هُوَ النَّهرُ حينَ نُحدِّقُ في النَّهرِ يَغْرَوْرَقُ الْوَقْتُ فينا ...
أَلا تَحفظون قليلاً من الشِّعرِ كي تُوقِفوا الَمْذبَحةْ ؟ 
أَلَمْ تولَدوا من نِساءٍ ؟ 
أَلَمْ تَرْضَعوا مِثْلنَا حَليبَ الحنين إِلى أُمَّهاتٍ؟
أَلَم تَرْتَدوا مِثلَنا أَجْنِحَةْ 
لِتَلْتَحِقوا بِالسُّنونو. وكُنَّا نُبَشِّرُكُمْ بالرّبيعِ, فلا تَشْهَروا الأَسْلِحَةْ !  
وفي وُسْعِنا أَن نَتَبَادَلَ بَعْضَ الْهَدايا وبَعْضَ الغِناء ...
هُنا كانَ شَعْبي هنا ماتَ شَعْبي هنا شَجَرُ

 للعدُوُّ  الذي يشربُ الشايَ 
في كوخنا فَرَسٌ في الدخَانِ
وبنْتٌ لها حاجبانِ كثيفانِ ,
عينانِ بُنيتان , وشَعَرُ طويلٌ كَلَيْلِ الأغاني على الكتِفْينِ .
وصورَتُها لا تفارقُهُ كُلَّما جاءنا يطلُبُ الشاي 
لكنَّهُ لا يُحَدَثُنا عن مشاغلها في المساء , وعَنْ فَرَسٍ تَرَكَتْهُ الأَغاني على قمَّة التَلِّ ..../
*... في كوخنا يستريحُ العَدُوُّ من البُندقيّة , 
مثلما يفعَلُ الضيفُ . يغفو قليلاً على مقعد الخَيْزُرانِ , ويحنُو على فَرْوِ قطْتنا , ويقولُ لنا دائماً : 
لا تلوموا الضحيَّة َ! 
نسأَلُهُ : مضنْ هيَ ؟ 
فيقولُ : دَمٌ لا يُجَفِّفُهُ الليلُ .../ 
* ... تلمعُ أَزرارُ سُتْرَتِهِ عندما يبتعدْ 
عِمْ مساءً ! وسَلِّمْ على بئرنا 
وعلى جِهَةِ التين . وامشِ الهُوَيْنَى على 
ظلَّنا في حقول الشعير . وسَلِّمْ على سَرْونا في الأَعالي . ولا تَنْسَ بَوَّابةَ البيتِ مفتوحةً في الليالي .
 ولا تَنْسَ خَوْفَ الحصان من الطائراتِ 
وسَلِّمْ علينا , هُنَاكَ إِذا اتَّسعَ الوقتُ .../
هذا الكلامُ الذي كان في وُدِّنا 
أَن نَقولَ على الباب ... يَسْمَعُهُ جيِّداً جَيِّداً ,
ويُخَبِّئُهُ في السُّعال السريع 
ويُلْقي به جانباً 
فلماذا يزور الضحيَّة كُلَّ مساءٍ ؟
ويحفَظُ أَمثالنا مِثْلَنا , 
ويُعيدُ أَناشيدَنا ذاتها , 
عن مواعيدنا ذاتها في المكان المُقَدَّسِ ؟ 
لولا المسدسُ 
لاختلطَ النايُ في النايِ .../ 
*... لن تنتهي الحربُ ما دامت الأرضُ فينا تدورُ على نفسها ! فلنَكُنْ طَيِّبين إِذا كان يسألُنا أَن نكونَ هنا طَيِّبينَ .
ويقرأُ شِعراً لطيّار " ييتْس" : أَنا لا 
أُحبُّ الذينَ أُدافعُ عنهُم , كما أَنني لا أُعادي الَذينَ أُحاربُهمْ ...
ثم يخرجُ من كوخنا الخشبيِّ , 
ويمشي ثمانينَ متراً إلى 
بيتنا الحجريِّ هناك على طَرَفِ السَّهْلِ .../
* سَلِّمْ على بيتنا يا غريبُ .
فناجينُ قهوتنا لا تزال على حالها , هل تَشُمُّ أَصابعَنَا فوقها ؟
هل تقولُ لبنتك ذات الجديلةِ والحاجبينِ الكثيفينِ إِنَّ لها صاحباً غائباً , 
يتمنَّى زيارَتَها , لا لِشيْءٍ ...
ولكنْ ليدخل مِرْآتَها ويرى سرَّهُ : 
كيف كانت تُتَبَعُ من بعده عُمْرَهُ 
بدلاً مِنه ؟ سَلِّمْ عليها 
إِذا اتسَّعَ الوقتُ .../

Hello everyone! I'm presenting to you "Tales of El'Azar" a project of mine based on the same novel. It's a set of ambient & orchestral compositions that follow the story of Ulenth, the Mists traveler, as he arrives in the fabled world of El' Azar and explores it. Two different parts compiled into one album coming straight from the time I experimented a lot with music. I hope you enjoy!

The Transcendentalism EP – released as a highly limited white-label 12” and as digital download – accompanies the triple-headline Transcendentalists European tour.
