Gravity x Nef The Pharaoh (Prod. T. Kelley)

Shakeel Sherman, better known as Shakeel, is a self taught R&B singer and song writer from Oakland, CA. Shakeel’s music has the ability to entrance his listeners, turning even the worst of moods to the best of vibes with every melodic note he sings. With influences such as Jagged Edge, R. Kelly, H town, and Maxwell it’s no wonder that Shakeel’s voice is embedded with 90’s style tones accompanied by a modern day twist.


Shakeel is currently in the midst of releasing his new single “Gravity” ft. Nef the Pharaoh. With club appearances and plans of a music video, Shakeel hopes to propel his sensual yet upbeat single to the top of the charts, being played by every major radio station, and heard across the world. 

From a young age Shakeel has always been interested in music. He hopes to become signed, releasing his own music, and later graduate to owning his own record label. Shakeel plans to let his talents guide him into a position of positive influence. He states “music and sound is a gift […] I want to be able to create more opportunities for the people in my community.” He believes that everyone has artistic abilities that are just in need of fine tuning. 

Shakeel’s euphonic voice sets the tone for his current single and any future hit to come. His voice mixed with his upbeat and relatable personality makes him a perfect candidate for becoming the world’s new hit artist.
