Inspired by the early works of ambient icon Steve Roach's 'Structures From  Silence', each piece in '<strong>Still</strong>'
was designed to reflect certain natural breathing patterns that occur
prior to falling asleep and to gradually lead the listener into a
quiet, relaxed state. By relaxing the mind fully before sleep, one
disconnects from stressful day-to-day thoughts and activities, putting
the mind and body in a state more receptive to the full benefits of
deep sleep. The artist, Kimathi Moore, spent one year falling asleep to
each piece before releasing them as part of this album.*
