Fun, melodic metal from Pewsey teens, aged around 15. Everyday Ghosts always have a good crowd at the local gigs after their last recording, 'Psycho XXX', was a popular Pewsey track.

Alt rock with funk and Hendrix influence from Pewsey natives Renegades of Funk, aged 17-19. The song writing blew us away and it was a big job for the production to live up to the music. This song perfectly sums up the sound of enjoying the summer holiday with your friends, something we can all relate to!

City May Cave, who you might remember recorded Pac-Man vs Superman a while back, returned to prove the Devizes is still the home of the best metal in Wiltshire.

Just as their previous song 'Summer of 2006' spoke with raw truth of what it is to be a teenager today, so does this new track from Pewsey band Renegades of Funk. Warm, fluttering guitars pad the story of friends looking for a place to skateboard away from police interruption. Dynamic performances and composition lead to a dramatic finale, proving that any rural community has the potential to make moving music.

It's an example of how local political decisions affect the art created in our immediate culture - after long term attempts by young people in Pewsey to get a skateboard park, and difficulty finding land to build one, they are left with nowhere but car parks. The song explains the side effect of this practise, evading police, just to live the active social life they believe they have the right to.

Recorded by young people at the Shak Studio in Pewsey. As acoustic recordings are simple to learn about, they are the perfect kind of recording for a young person to do in their first ever recording class, leading to lessons in basic mixing and balance.
