About the EP:
Nijaallanna (“We will love” in Oromo language) is a declaration of love by the duo Z / F towards music as a soothing and trascendental force.
The tribal rhythms and songs contained in the album are spiritual and physical healing rituals. A peaceful but powerful reaction to these difficult years, a way out towards redemption, through union and harmony. This record celebrates music and dance as a means of reaching a higher frequency of vibration.

About the song :
A reinterpretation of one of the oldest hymns of Candomblé, dedicated to Oxum, the orisha of love, health and fresh waters.
The song incorporates and reinterprets traditional Afro-Brazilian percussion, combining them with synthetic sounds in a slow and enthralling dance with an ancestral flavor.

I am super happy to share with you Ecstatic Dance set I played on December 15th 2020 in Dahab.
Ecstatic Dance is format of sober dance event. Ecstatic Dance DJ sets typically have a wave structure. This musical journey can look like this: build from slow meditative mood up to peak experience with high bpm tracks, to then fading to sensitive and emotional part to finally transition to warm, heart opening end.
This format gives full abundance of creative possibilities for multi-genre DJs like me.
