Growing up in South Yorkshire, Mella Dee’s early musical influences originated from the sounds coming out of warehouses in and around his stomping ground. This soon developed into a love of the burgeoning scene and audio palette from warehouse parties worldwide; hardcore, house, bleeps, techno and everything in between. With a respectful nod to the impact this had on him, Aitchison strives to create his own take on warehouse music with his new project.

We Are The Brave launched 2019 with Alan’s biggest release to date, the gargantuan 7 track ’11:11 The Awakening’ truly laying the path for a mega year ahead. With the House Party tour now firmly an annual fixture for the label, its family of artists have steadily been growing with some key releases along the way from Darius Syrossian, Reset Robot, Boxia, Gary Beck, Skream and Alan’s collab with Sasha.

Ronnie Spiteri has been one of those artists who has played many of the showcases over in the UK, and alongside Alan in Ibiza last summer for Do Not Sleep as one of their residents. ‘Talking To Nature’ marks his second EP on the label and also We Are The Brave’s 30th release!

The title track kicks things off on this EP with punctuating kick drum and scintillating hats. The track has a house inspired piano hook which makes its groove nostalgic and infectious. A mega big room breakdown hits just right, no doubt making this a festival hit.

“The EP is definitely one of my strongest releases to date – Talking To Nature was inspired by a Richy Ahmed track that I heard Nick Curly play at Time Warp; it was one of those inspirational moments that turns into a productive studio session and with Danny Howard premiering it on his BBC Radio 1 ADE special, it definitely came out as I hoped it would” says Ronnie

‘Spirits’ brings a pulsating low end with warmth and energy, whilst synth stabs boom alongside the sexy vocal hits, with a truly atmospheric breakdown. ‘Trust Yourself’ is a strong yet subdued track based around a really nice hook, some spoken style vocals and a heavy kick drum. 

"Ronnie is proving to be an unstoppable force, coined by friends and colleagues as “ronstoppable”, his music is powerful and full of swing. A true hero amongst the brave crew and an integral part of our vision" adds Alan.

Breakthrough British DJ and Producer Josh Hvaal touches down on the formidable Hot Creations label this February with two striking cuts ready to be unleashed on the world.

“I feel honoured to be releasing music on Hot Creations, Jamie and Lee have always been a massive influence on me, so to have their backing and belief in my sound feels amazing. The title track 'The Sound' came about by accident, I was playing with a few more modular sounds and accidentally put one of the MIDI drum patterns I’d made onto the bassline channel, then boom 'The Sound' was born." On The Sound a pumping kick and spirited hi-hats lead into a dizzying synth line, progressively more frenzied pulses of electronics are thrown in and collide to create dance floor pandemonium. Stan Smith features more lively percussion, classic rave stabs and bright samples to produce an anthemic melody that moves with bounce over a jacking bassline.

2020 looks set to be a big breakthrough year for 24-year-old Josh Hvaal as he makes his mark on the underground dance music scene. He has already amazed audiences with appearances at Stealth, XOYO, EGG, Lab11 and Lightbox.

His unique and extensive catalogue of high-octane club-ready music influenced by the likes of Paul Johnson, DJ Deeon and DJ Haus has already hit some of the most renowned clubs and festivals in the world, being played by Jamie Jones, Richy Ahmed, Latmun, Pawsa, Seb Zito and more. After catching the eye of Jamie Jones with his original and unconventional productions, he was immediately signed for this debut release. With planned releases on Hottrax and his label Forum records still to come, expect to hear much more of Josh as the year unravels.

Saved Records founder Nic Fanciulli returns to Rekids with a tough two-track release entitled ‘Focus’.

British Grammy-nominated producer and globally renowned DJ, Nic Fanciulli has prevailed as one of the most sought-after house and techno artists of the last decade with a global touring schedule, including launching his well-received debut Ushuaïa Ibiza residency ‘Dance or Die’ last summer to add to his years at the iconic Space Ibiza. While releasing on many of the most respected labels including RCA,Anjunadeep, Crosstown Rebels, Rekids, Circus and Play It Say It, he crossed paths with Rekids when remixing Radio Slave’s seminal ‘Grindhouse’ back in 2012, but it was only until last year that Fanciulli dropped a full solo outing on the label with his superb ‘Understand’ release.
