@feeling-blue-studios present their sophomore release from label head Azure and long-time musical partner Ben Murray as 2XM, with a complementary remix from enigmatic Ōtautahi producer, Caramel Smooth Heaven (@csh_beats).

The 3-track E.P. delivers signature @2xmurrays sounds; floating melodics and vocal lines over intricate percussive programming, that continues to extend and cement the label’s sonic direction. “Close To Me” speaks to an internal monologue that could be found in the dawn of a late club night amongst strangers, or intimately at home with the one you love. Smooths remix rounds out the E.P, providing further introspection from a more drawn back tempo.

Raised in the Denver underground during the late aughts, Posi has been on a sonic journey that has landed squarely in the realm of Drum & Bass.

Aight y'all I'ma get narrative with ya because I won't talk myself up in 3rd person, it's weird.

I latched onto Trance and Electro/Tech/Progressive/Deep House when I was 19. I had many mentors that fostered my curiosity for the electronic sound, shout out to Dave & Javier for showing me the ropes, mad respect. I got to see soooo many huge names come through Beta, The Church, and Vinyl. I was immersed in the underground where I could find it, as then it was, and continues to be, an elusive entity within the arbitrary spectrum of sound.

That has always perplexed me; that sort of unspoken defense mechanism of sound that evades being pinned down, as if to say 'the soul of the music is too vogue to be personified". After 16 years, I'm beside myself to think that I've gotten this far, riding this wave of a dream I always held close to my heart. It was never about the image, put me behind the curtain and let the people dance.

"The More You Think About It" is something I crafted from many hardships of the heart and mind over the last few years. I have been absolutely crushed and remolded by the experiences and relationships I encountered, and I certainly believe some of those emotions are contained within.

"Chill" was the vibe; which within the soundscapes, can have vastly different definitions from ear to ear. I personally view chill in many ways, from jumping around the living room to easing the arm chair. With this mix, I want you to feel empowered in however it is you chill; whether that be in nature, at the gym, in your hobby, with your family, with God.
