Volume 2 continues in this vein with a new pick ‘n’ mix bag of feel-good crowd-pleasers from EVM128, Body-san, Danvers and Galactic Ganesh, while Volume 1 also receives a long overdue (limited) press to vinyl, with a new added track from SexRulesEverything.

Those familiar with EVM128 will place him firmly at the forefront of the new wave of broken beat artists. A highlight of his critically acclaimed 2015 LP Nova was Beyond, featuring soul legend Omar, and Warm ‘n’ Easy ft. Oliver Night stands in this vein but hits even harder, with smooth soulful vocals riding the strident rhythms flowing through the bass, drums and chords.

Felix has been working his studio hard this past summer and has seemingly caned out a whole bunch of Leifuryness for your pleasure via the ever impressive @Dirt-Crew ! This record is actually a highly anticipated return to the outlet for the Icelandic Ace, following his well received jaunts on Bobby Donny and Iceland counterpart's, Lagaffee Tales. This time round, Felix delivers four cuts which demonstrate his illustrious production style in the form of 4/4 house jammers and a lesser explored (for Felix), breakbeat, electro structure.  

This premiere is the B1 on the record and touches on Felix's more experimental side. Unlike the wine variety, 'Pinot Noir 1985' isn't short on body or depth - hard hitting gritty percussion is coupled with a classic jazz infused loop that whirrs around and around in a near hypnotic fashion. Well, it hypnotised us into playing it around 38 times consecutively. Whether this be the quality of the track of or straight up hoodoo - we enjoyed it either way. Get involved.
