After the hugely successful Never Complain EP on Lost Palms, it’s no surprise to see purveyor of French groove DJ Psychiatre back for another disc on Shall Not Fade, adding his name to the Seasons Series collection. Expect exquisitely produced house for both day and night, with a splash of rave-influenced heat. 

Different Philosophies EP hits like classic house music but breaks rigid conceptions of genre. The title track is a punchy percussive number texturised with hand drum samples that pair imperceptibly with a deep electro melody. ‘Just Here To Get Ya’ opens out with swirling pads but hits hard with a sidewinding bassline in another icy space age cut. Closing out the A Side, the jazzier ‘Fantasies’ serves up grooving melody and popping ear candy to tease the ear, holding you in a hypnotic haze. Onto the B side and a beat you can feel in your chest lets you know ‘Summer Hit Ready’ means business. The tense stabs and half-hidden vocals before the drop give high drama, making way for classic house piano. If the record started with day party energy, this one is straight from the darkness of the rave. More chilled out B2 ‘Drifting’ creeps up subtly to a pulsing 303 roller that builds momentum for the record closer; all raw breakbeats and atmospheric vocal clips, ‘Time To Go Home’ opens into a thoughtful, bass-driven centrepiece that calmly winds down the EP. Not to be missed, the digital bonus track ‘It’s All Magic’ is a jazzy groover with added acid. Look out for a deep dark drop that gives way to the club-ready kick, before fading into lingering meditative chords.

South London based producer Lxury is a subtle experimentalist, pairing house rhythms with eclectic genre blending and risk-taking. Returning to Shall Not Fade’s Lost Palms series for a second record, Smart Digital Life EP shows the maturity and complexity of his production while keeping the energy light and summery.

‘1722’ opens things up with dreamlike pitched vocals that provide a vaporwave feel, hypnotizing over stuttering synths and a wonky beat. ‘Spin’ has an experimental sound palette, a euphoric pulse and a sweet melody, dance music doused in honey. This sweetness spills over onto the B side; ‘Pad Ma’ sounds like a pumping club track meets a trip to the fairground - unstoppably buoyant and headsy. The vocals in ‘When I Wake Up’ spin around your head before a muscular beat kicks in, the most stripped back and raw sounding of the record. This one is certain to get heads down and feet moving. ‘Up High’ is an expansive closing track, built around fuzzy drums as the clever use of vocal samples creates a melody with a loved-up feeling; it’s a tour-de-force of Lxury’s delicate production skills.

After a chaotic year the world seems to slowly open up again. To celebrate the occasion, @odradio welcomes you to Bay City. This metropole is situated on a fabled tropical archipelago, which to this day has remained undiscovered. Rumored to be somewhere in the Pacific, from the few visitors who made it there we know that it’s an isolated place, completely unaffected by the hectic, outside world. A place where time seems to move more slowly, as is reflected by the music broadcasted by the island’s most popular radio station: house, vaporwave, disco, fusion, yacht rock, lounge and smooth jazz - all are genres that are frequently heard on ODR.

This 12-track VA also reflects that mellow, yet cheerful Bay City spirit: It’s a compilation of exotic, punchy and melancholic tunes, at all times best enjoyed at the pool or beach.

Following their debut on the imprint earlier this year, Kassian step up for a second outing on Shall Not Fade, this time via the Basement series. Their return to the label takes a deeper, heavier direction than their previous releases, more suited to a warehouse over an intimate club setting. 

As Kassian have continuously pushed their sound forwards, they've gained recent accolades such as contributing to BICEP’s Feel My Bicep mix series, playing Mixmag’s LAB London live and notable coverage from DJ Mag and more in the last year alone. 

Their latest EP 'Breathe' is perfectly placed for the long awaited return to nightlife. The A1 delivers what a true A1 should, a peak time driving track with undeniable energy. “Aerial” pulls back the pace slightly, it’s a deep and rolling effort with a classic trance influence. Rounding off the EP is “London Orbital”, clearly inspired by the sounds of London that the duo are so familiar with, the track switches up the pace and presents a breaks focussed sound.

Lo-Fi House Mix Vol. 6 🎨

Undernoise presents its ninth release with Inner Pages by Yuri Piccolotto. Originally from Belluno in North-East Italy, Yuri is a drummer, producer and composer with an international background. 

After studying at the Modern Music Institute in Padova, he deepened his jazz language through the Umbria Jazz clinics and was awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston. During his time in the United States, he toured the East Coast as a session musician with Billy Wylder, further shaping his rhythmic and compositional identity. Inner Pages reflects this hybrid foundation. 

The track blends 80s tonal aesthetics with a refined house and deep house flavour, balancing retro textures with contemporary production. Built on a strong rhythmic sensibility and melodic clarity, it moves naturally between musical depth and dancefloor functionality. 

With this release, Undernoise continues to bridge its local roots with a broader international perspective
