Italian-born, London-based DJ and producer Giulia Tess has emerged as an exciting name to watch over recent years. A skilled selector with standout releases on Ross From Friends’ Scarlet Tiger imprint, Fever AM and More Time Records, Giulia's music splices the vibrancy of left-field electronica with mind-bending percussive elements and nods to classic UK club sounds.

Earlier this month welcomed the rising producer's first outing on HE.SHE.THEY. with two new productions across 'I Feel You'. Fusing the infectious melodies from South London's Ell Murphy with break-influenced beats and skippy electronics, the euphoric title production showcases Tess' genre-bending style while 'Fru Fru' delves into more hypnotic and experimental realms. 

After a positive start to the year, Giulia is showing no signs of slowing down and has helmed the latest in our Dummy mix series. Zipping between some of the UK's most established and fastest rising talents, such as Overmono, Cameo Blush and her very own productions, this 1 hour mix is everything you need to get the party started.

Kicking off things with our first episode, is one of the highlight performances of the year so far, all the way from Detroit, DJ Assault. 

Check out this 90min mix, recorded live from fabric on 25/02/22 in which DJ Assault took to our Room 1 booth (and mic) on a FABRICLIVE for the history books, which also featured ANZ, Simo Cell, OK Williams, Kush Jones, MELL G & more.

Craig Adams aka DJ Assault, has played a large part in flying the flag for ghetto-tech, aka booty music, which is a highly energetic fusion of electro, techno and footwork mixed with unique but body moving lyrics. His signature tracks “Ass and Titties”, “Sex on the Beach” and “Crank This Mutha” are a perfect example of his style. Assault’s own label, Jefferson Ave., is home to his work as a solo artist along with his rapping alter ego, Craig Diamonds, the Street Narrator.

Despite frequently being touted and grouped amongst the freshest DJ’s and producers in the scene, Viers has been steadily pumping out no nonsense, well made techno for a minute now. Recent acclaim and praise has found the Leeds based artist through a string of releases such as Steel City Dance Discs & Turbo recordings; labels where he has carved out his affecting, dark and hard sound.

It’s this sound which is captured in this mix; managing to please both the industrial techno purists and those who can’t abide anything too acerbic in one fell swoop - expect nods to rave euphoria and melodic boons all anchored by a tough undercurrent.
