Adelphi Music Factory are a collective hailing from Sheffield, here in their own words to “increase the peace”. Their uplifting and addictive house, flooded with nods to the British rave sound, brings people together to dance. The collective has seen a meteoric rise in fame, gaining plaudits from global DJs and their releases repeatedly tipped by Annie Mac as the hottest records in the world.

Their debut on Shall Not Fade in August sold out, with the repress flying out. Now they’re back for more; Electric Arc Furnace EP is a ferocious record, cementing Adelphi Music Factory as a northern powerhouse. Like their other releases, Electric Arc Furnace is all about fuelling the dance. ‘Jive Turkey’ kicks off the EP with truly monstrous percussion, pausing only for a euphoric sax solo reprieve, making it perfect summer day party gear. 

‘Rejoice With Me (I Need You)’ is a gospel heater; bouncing beat and strings underpinning textbook praise break vocal tackle, epitomising what Adelphi Music Factory are about -  hands-in-the-air house music. Closing out the EP, ‘Sample Seduction’ is awash with second summer of love hardcore vibes simmering over a thumping four four groove. Classic vocal sampledge brings the record to a crescendo, evoking memories of the sweatiest rave you’ve ever been to.

Production duo Mark Richards & James Eliot aka Solardo are the next to make their mark on Hot Creations with ‘Tribesmen’, delivering two heavy-duty cuts destined to stir serious heat in the club.

Already doing the rounds worldwide at the hands of some of the biggest names in the business, ‘Tribesmen’ and ‘Psycho Girlfriend’ are built straight for the dancefloor around dense and heavy basslines, punchy percussion and prominent vocal slices.

Hailing from Manchester, Solardo are continuing the city’s rich heritage in house music whilst carving out their own sound in the house and techno scene with releases on Madtech, MTA Records and more recently Of Unsound Mind. Their string of successful releases has gained them an army of fans across the board from Jamie Jones to Jackmaster. The pair also run a weekly radio show on Rinse FM and are residents of the well known Kaluki party as well as running their own successful event series, Solardo Sessions.

Hot Creations favourite and Paradise resident Patrick Topping is back onboard the seminal imprint with the hotly anticipated, two track release, Be Sharp Say Nowt.

Road tested on the world’s biggest stages and at the most notorious parties, title track Be Sharp Say Nowt encapsulates Patrick’s signature sound and has proven to be his biggest track of the year. “The gospel vocal from LaShun Pace is amazing!” says Patrick, “I'm so happy to have it finally come out on Hot Creations”. On the flip, Track Change offers a contrast and a slightly different side to Patrick’s sound.

Spearheading the new wave of electronic music producers coming from the North of England, Patrick Topping has made a name as a prolific producer, securing seven different Beatport number 1s since his debut release in 2013. His accolades also count two DJ Awards for Best Newcomer and Track Of The Season for Forget, as well as DJ Mag’s Best Tune in their Best of British Awards. Last year he rounded things off with his first DJ mix album, Paradise On Earth vol 1, which received Mixmag’s Compilation of The Month and 10/10 from Germany’s Faze Mag, as well as reaching number 1 in Beatport’s House chart.

Young Irish-producer Rebūke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebūke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being “a bit too weird”, but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP “is something I’ve never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction”.

On Along Came Polly, Rebūke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebūke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.

We stay busy as usual and expand our digital back catalouge with a string of releases starting with a brand new four tracker by HDSN, which involves drum machines, trippy atmospheres and viable grooves. “Can´t Stop Me Now” & “Better Than Ever” are among the catchier tracks on his recent EP “Haste Makes Waste", but also the other cuts making it hard to feel no excitement for this record, that´s pairing up a modern deep house affair with his own unique style sonic fog. It’s a path that's been going before, but there's a distinctive, catchy edge to HDSN´s approach, especially if you are able to read between the lines. The endless eclectic artist approaches parts of life with a certain degree of nostalgia, but also with the awareness that, while there was darkness, it didn't need to last forever, because finally his yearning became it´s own reward, a quest that´s much bigger than what´s actually at stake.
