Closing 2021 off with a monolithic track from @z_james & @despamusic - the tried and tested formula of chopped up R&B vocals on top of rattling drums & heavy reese bass is always sure to make people sweat - and it wouldn't be a Kultura release without some twists & turns on the way.

This one has been in the works since the summer, after a lot of fine-tuning it's great to finally get it out.

Loutan's (@loutanclan) tune "Empty Ice Tray" is the first going up from our next release, Refugee Action Compilation. As the name suggests, the release is a 17-track compilation of pure joy, with all proceeds from sales being donated to Refugee Action, an incredible UK charity doing very important work.

Loutan's track is of his usual ilk, with the Moon Rack chief treating us to an incredibly well crafted post-dubstep groover, populated with a splash of think breaks thrown in for good measure. Pushing dreamy chords and a more than hefty baseline to match, we are more than excited to be kicking off the release with this one :)

Introspekt is THE name on everybody's lips at the moment, and for good reason! She is an LA-based producer and DJ specializing in all things garage! 

Introspekt has an extensive CV behind her including releasing an EP on Gimme A Break records which was premiered on the iconic DJ Mag, and has remixed a tune for the lovely Eliza Rose which was released on Rosebud Recordings.

Introspekt has played more sets than there are fish in the sea, appearing at gigs and festivals across LA and throughout the states. She appeared on the Keep Hush x Warp Mode Takeover taking the roof off the place with her wobbly basslines and impeccable mixing skills which are shown throughout this mix.

Virtually, Introspekt has been on pretty much every radio station and label you can think of having featured on Swu.fm, Rinse.fm and Solitude, as well as having her own personal residencies on Balamii radio and Threads Radio. 

Introspekt is one of the best to currently do it and we are absolutely honoured to have her this week so listen in and enjoy.

In the space of her relatively short career, they have fast become one of the scene’s most recognised names, having shared lineups with the likes of Conducta, Sam Binga, collaborated with Oakland badgal bored lord, and appeared on our last TIN compilation alongside Soul Mass Transit System with Sexy Thing.
