A recent addition to the wave of electronic music talent emerging from Ireland, Jordan Rafferty aka DART debuts on Hammer's digital imprint Remmah. Comprised of club-ready tracks cloaked in lighter melodic tones and textures, the Dawn EP was conceived as a complete body of work that marks a statement release from the Dublin producer.  

The EP kicks off with a title track that saw Rafferty trying something different from his usual style: "'Dawn' is one of my favourite tracks I've ever produced. Throughout my life I've always been a big fan of old school trance/prog, and I took some inspiration from that when writing the track. I wanted this track to be different. It was almost a breath of fresh air writing something short, sweet and enchanted."

From there the EP focuses on more dancefloor-focused material, yet always keeps trance and prog elements close by, from the rolling bass line of 'New Age Jewel' to the subtle frog sample on 'Tree Frog'. Altogether it makes for a compelling 33-minutes of music that fits beautifully alongside the label's past releases while standing on its own as a singular work from one of Ireland's most exciting up & comers.

J Wax is a producer/DJ based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has been releasing music for over a year now on such labels as Fade To Zaire, Hilltown Disco, Unit Two Records and Clipp art. With his debut EP coming out in the next few months. His producing style stems from many different areas from old skool house, breakbeat and Detroit electro. J Wax has been regularly playing live shows around the country the past year with very varied sets with mixes of acid, breakbeat, electro, house and much more. He is 1/5 of Dundee based record label Hilltown Disco and also is 1/5 of the Edinburgh based club night Palidrone.

DD4 inaugurates the new London-based label, Love Bizarre with his debut release featuring four original cuts on an EP entitled 'Till Dawn'.

Originally from Zurich now residing in Dundee Scotland, DD4 initially discovered a love and passion for electronic music as a teenager following record labels like Defected and Hot Creations. With influence from these labels and Glasgow on his doorstep providing access to clubs like The Arches, Sub-Club and SWG3, it wasn't long before DD4's tracks started to resonate with the feelings and moments experienced in those club settings. Touching on anything from upbeat  house tracks to dark club techno, and everything in between.

'Till Dawn' sees the launch of Michael Gray and John Becker's open-format record label, Love Bizarre who look to provide a creative platform for their artists across various genres.

Opening the EP in style, title cut 'Till Dawn' deploys breaky rhythms, sparkling melodies and uplifting pads that undulate beneath. Up next, 'Miasma' introduces resounding kicks and powerful synths, whilst 'Self Isolation' brings the euphoric energy through angelic pads, intricate chords and shimmering tones that combine
superbly. Rounding off proceedings in vibrant fashion, 'Feeling Forgotten' delightfully fuses beaming low frequencies, enrapturing leads and choppy vocals keeping you enticed throughout.

The EP features a free download 'Rave', a jacking club track with fizzing drums and powerful melodic tones.
