Templates is the debut album of the California based, Merkaba Music label producer “Arcturus”. Templates is a living breathing energetic template of evolving timelines. These works begin the journey for Arcturus and will forever be remembered. The album oscillates between elements of Psy-Bass, Psybient, and downtempo with melodies and instruments from all over the world. Seven Tracks in total were chosen to symbolize the alchemical process, often referred to as the heroes journey.

Every song is specifically tuned, to fit the key it was written in, and specifically the first 3 songs are tuned to the OM C# according to the work of Hans Cusco who wrote the book “The Cosmic Octave”. The rest are tuned accordingly to what fit the key it was written in.

Deep thanks to all of my inspirations, my friends and family, all over the galaxy. I couldn’t of done this without you guys. May these sounds provide an energetic template to resonate healing, passion, and love to the multiverse and to all beings.

Greenux makes his debut release on the Psy Jelly and we are more than excited to have him. The two track E.P starts off with a more melodic and psy-chill feeling, a flowing river of sound that's progression provides a juxtaposition to a lot of psybass and downtempo music. Keeping us on tenterhooks through gentle evolution that teases us with anti-drops and trickles out a sound experience which keeps us guessing whats going to come next. Based in psy-chill the track “Blooming Trees” provides a more after-party sound that creates a gentle yet dynamic structure of melodies, beats and drums that perpetuates relaxation and stimulation at the same time.

The juxtaposition between his first track and the second is what makes this E.P so intriguing. How Greenux is able to transition us between psy chill and thumping psychedelic dub: squelchy bouncy basslines and dance floor drops that permeate the atoms of our body to a point where in the living room, or the darkness of a nightclub, you cannot help but rock backwards and forwards, let alone be forced to move your body without any choice.

Making music for me has always been a way of escaping reality, when i create this stuff i am able to release myself in a world of midi notes and audio pitch shifts.
Details matter and so do we, the eye is the other side of this super massive blackhole and you, human, is translating this AUM into light.
Before we can even exist to see the light of the sun we need to be translated by a deeper frequency, sound is everything!
I have had lot's of time to escape reality making this track and therefore i am thankful. Upmost to ElectrowaveZ and the Merkaba crew for releasing these stems to me.
Making music is what keeps me around!

The White Light

The Great Old Ones are fictional creatures, originally from the literary work of the writer H.P Lovecraft.

The concept of "Great Old Ones" remains undefined since it designates several kinds of entities according to the more or less biased perception of the narrators. Lovecraft's most famous creation, sometimes venerated as deities by certain mortals, is Cthulhu, a gigantic, sprawling creature.

For this compilation, the artists were each inspired by one of the creatures from the Lovecraftian bestiary in order to create a personal musical definition.
