Although we opted for a different final direction for “I’LL
BE GONE,” I always loved this longer version of the song.
I think this is a good example of how a different structure
and arrangement can totally change the vibe of a song.

‘Multiverse’ is a word used to describe an infinite group of disparate universes including the ones currently inhabited by humans. A myriad of realms that sit side by side, undetected by our senses, surround us at any given moment. The multiverse theory was first confirmed by tracking leakage of electromagnetic waves filtering from one dimension into the next. When these waves were transposed to fit into frequencies audible by the human ear, the recordings were studied by a team of scientists, who found that they contained rhythmic elements that resembled a speech pattern of an alien language.

After years of research and manipulation the audio was found to be a looping recording of an alien voice speaking the words: ‘IDWT005; coming soon to a universe near you.

Following the massive success of https://soundcloud.com/cultivated-electronics/CE026-From-The-Dark-Volume One, Cultivated Electronics return with another world-class compilation of Electro artists from across the world. 

The track selected to premiere on @DarkScienceElectro is produced by Zeta Reticula, Slovenian producer better known for his Techno/Tech-House DJ chops. This side-project of the producer has been active since 2001, releasing on labels like @Electrix-Records, @MechatronicaMusic, @SixteenOFive and now with @Cultivated-Electronics. This track absolutely shines with old-school Electrofunk beats, a syncopated bass line and well-placed arpeggios that weave in and out of the song. When the lead isn't making you move, a creeped-out ghostly pad appears to help convey the 'From The Dark' feel of the release. This LP comes out on 11/26/2018 and will distributed via Clone.

PREMIERE: Zeta Reticula - Galactic Halo (Cultivated Electronics)

Strahinja Arbutina is a noisy/industrial whatever-techno producer from Zagreb with cassette and vinyl releases on labels such as BANK Records, Natural Sciences, Clan Destine, Summer Isle, MMODEMM etc. He holds a residency on the Lyon based LYL Radio, where he invites guests with similar musical tastes on a monthly basis, while also co-running a label called Low Income $quad. We can expect new material of his coming up on Daniel Andréasson's newly founded label S-ATA, as well as a remix of a track from Zoë Mc Pherson's recently released LP.
