Creative partnership Audiofly are the next to release on Crosstown Rebels with the show stopping ‘In The (Last) Moment’ featuring the angelic voice of Georgia Lewis. The release comes complete with a steadfast remix from Germany’s Robag Wruhme.

‘In the (Last) Moment’ sets the foundation with broken chuggy beats as intricate layers and grumbling pads unfold beneath the beautiful sounds of Georgia’s voice. Audiofly explain that, "sometimes it’s nice to not have to write the usual peak time bomb, with this one we followed our hearts and the vibe of young vocalist Georgia Lewis and what emerged was a sunrise moment."

With 13 years behind them Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito AKA Audiofly have established a creative empire, which includes two record labels and their Flying Circus global party brand, which celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this year with a world tour. Working harder than ever, a second artist album is in the works following on from 2011 long-player ‘Follow My Liebe’.

Industry veteran Robag Wruhme has more recently had releases on the likes of Kompakt and Pampa Records. Here he makes an imprint on Crosstown Rebels with this epic remix that fuses elated synths and industrial elements over solid rolling percussion.

"Houses in Motion" is a new australian label based in Melbourne and they drop their first compilation EP featuring a range of tracks from label friends new and forever. A. M. Limonata returns with "Siren", an atmospheric, crisp track, reminiscent of days spent sun-drenched on dancefloors. Roy Blues makes his debut on HIM with "Pyramid" premiered here, a euphoric slow burner . On the flip, daddy boy Oliver Francis takes the limelight with "How High", a funky, crunchy beast that will take you for a ride through space and time. The inappropriately named closer "Setting Pace", another by Oliver, rounds out the record; a bright yet melancholy disco track featuring reverbial guitars of the mysterious Deep Zoo.

With the "Osmosis" EP lighting up the GMJ and Matter firmament in June 2017, Proton Music saw yet another example of Australian skill and craft. As we now return to the EP, "11 Moons" receives a pair of new remixes, courtesy of talented British and Polish producers.

Dan Baseley is a man whose career path has risen steeply in the underground dance scene. Through his Orsen production moniker, the British born artist has hit upon a unique and highly sought-after sound that has reverberated across the underground fraternity. Now based in his adopted Austrian home, Orsen's work, since a September 2014 debut for Optimized Recordings, has continued to find him at the vanguard of the progressive house scene. Moreover, work for Cid Inc.'s hugely respected Replug Records, saw four tracks of the highest order released in September 2017, in "Through the Woods". The "Komorebi" EP for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat in January 2016, plus work for Perspectives Digital and Particles, have shown Orsen at the top of his game with the "Elysium" EP for the latter proving a focal point for the label in June 2015. Now, returning to Proton Music after a trio of remixes and a June 2017 reworking of Roger Martinez, Orsen takes on GMJ and Matter with considerable aplomb. A beautifully constructed percussive groove lays the foundations for a wonderfully warm bass line to flow forth as textured pads gently pulse adding further depth. The melodies so central to the original make their presence felt in gated glory with both rhythm and melody working in perfect harmony to create a unique new take on "11 Moons".

Using their Cream and Deep For production soubriquets to great effect, Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz and Krzysztof Kotlinski have been involved in the music scene for a number of years. Both successful DJs and producers in their own rights with performances across their Polish homeland, the duo have collaborated on a host of tracks, providing themselves with over a century of production credits. Regulars on such impressive imprints as Soundteller Records, Electronic Tree and Particles, Cream and Deep Fog's work for the latter has seen a clutch of original and remix work, not least in the four-track "Neverland" EP in August 2015. High profile remixes of Andre Sobota and Kastis Torrau and Donatello have further raised the Polish duo to the upper echelons of the underground progressive house scene. As they now make their Proton Music debut, the Cream and Deep Fog remix is a deliciously driving offering that evolves elegantly with its club-friendly beat and head-shaking percussive groove. Evolving elegantly over the eight-and-a-half-minute voyage, a wonderful bassline progression adds interest as richly textured pads create depth, before a shimmering motif creates a new melodic direction. Intelligently using GMJ and Matter's original components to great effect, a raft of additional production material has added a new dimension to the Australian pair's work.

Remixes from Orsen and Cream and Deep Fog have seen GMJ and Matter continue to shoot for the stars with "11 Moons".

Dutch masters Paul Hazendonk returns to the label with 'The Thoughts'. His last outing back in November of 2016 was received to high acclaim. On his long-awaited return to ICONYC, Paul delivers a slice of early spring vibes titled ‘The Thoughts’. 

Next up we have Kamilo Sanclemente & Golan Zocher, who have been tearing up dance floors with their recent productions. They keep the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear yet sounding fresh - This mystical touch up takes the energy levels up a notch but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.
