Patrick Cooke is an award-winning composer and owner of Sham Rock Music. His work has appeared in commercials, films and television programs all over the world and as a self-taught, multi-instrumentalist, Patrick has gained a reputation for having a remarkable range of styles and outstanding professionalism. Recent success in advertising has included national commercials in the US and Canada for Coke, McDonald's, Walmart and Toyota amongst many others. He has written theme and score for number of TV series including “Lowcountry Raiders” (Discovery), “Stock & Awe (CTV,BNN), “Enraged” (Discovery US/TV Tropolis), and “Bat Guys” (HGTV). Patrick has also written songs for Nelvana/CORUS that have appeared in shows such as “The Adventures of Chuck”, “The Detentionaire” and “Ruby Gloom”. Patrick has also contributed music to video games including scoring the ground-breaking EEG game “Qualia” slated for 2013 release. In addition, Patrick has had recent success as a songwriter and pop/rock producer. In 2009 he co-wrote and produced "Nothing To Prove" by Tigerbomb. The song won the Virgin 99.9 RadioStar songwriting competition ahead of thousands of other entries. From there, with the help of seasoned radio tracker Linda Dawe, the song went on to chart Top 20 in numerous markets across Canada including 15 weeks in the Top 20 on Virgin 99.9 peaking at #13. In total "Nothing To Prove" had over 1200 spins and over 7 million audience impressions during it's run.
