Prologue In The Key Of Slimy

The theme this week was to try and "get back into the groove" by making something similar to your previous songs and, it's been so long since I made anything that I found that Really Hard.

I've done a little bit of music theory reading and analysis since the last song I made, so It's possibly a bit more "correct" if you could even describe that as a thing, but also feels a little more basic. sometimes when you don't know what you're doing you accidentally stumble upon things that are interesting i guess? Just means I have more to learn.

This one does keep the kind of dance/edm beat that I always lean into accidentally, though I also tried to simulate a guitar strumming effect and those two things are already an unusual combo. I did some analysis specifically into some Nier music and i can hear that leaking in, too. 

All in all, this is a very strange track, but I tried not to spend too long fine tuning it.

Defeated Is The Enemy

The more interesting product of the April Fools day prank that the previously uploaded song was from; this is a more jazz-ish medley of the themes for everyone who was in on it. There were actually two or three people who I haven't gotten around to the themes for yet, so this helped me iron out the ideas I had for them; it was also nice to revisit some older songs for a bit.
