This was my fourth time playing Coachella. 

A few weeks before the festival I was on the phone with my Mom and I specifically told her that I am taking nothing for granted and pouring everything I have into this set. 

I worked my ass off on this. 

I think it really captures where I am in my musical journey. 

I am proud of it and I think it is one of my best sets to date.

Thanks again to the DoLaB and I am super looking forward to being with everyone again at LiB!

At the stroke of midnight on August 30, 2024, The Sponges ignited the Playa with an unforgettable live set on the Golden Gate Art Car at Burning Man. As the vibrant lights of the art car illuminated the desert night, a diverse crowd gathered, buzzing with anticipation for the sonic journey ahead.

The set kicked off with a captivating blend of deep grooves and ethereal melodies, instantly pulling the audience into the experience. With each beat drop, the energy escalated, inviting festival-goers to dance under the stars. The Sponges skillfully weaved together an eclectic mix of sounds, drawing from electronic, house, and world music influences, creating an atmosphere of pure euphoria.

As the night unfolded, the connection between the performers and the crowd deepened, with everyone united in rhythm and spirit. Visuals danced across the art car, enhancing the immersive experience and transporting listeners to another world. The Sponges’ infectious energy and vibrant presence transformed the Golden Gate Art Car into a pulsating heart of creativity and joy.

The midnight set left an indelible mark on the Burning Man experience, a celebration of music, community, and the magic of the Playa. As the final notes echoed into the night, it was clear that this performance would be remembered as a highlight of the festival, a moment where art and music came together to create something truly extraordinary.

Warming up the dance floor on the opening night of a legendary Tropical Campout meant that I had to reach deep into the repertoire and build up the energy from a few people bouncing to a full dance floor frenzy. The weekend featured the likes of house & techno greats Oona Dahl and Sunshine Jones as well as 7 different crews joining forces to create a magical experience: Cheeze House Rekords, CUE Together, Love, Soul & House, Terrakroma, and of course Tropical.

It was a blast jumpiing around between our favored deep house vibes, our pop nostalgia bag, and some tech/bass house bangers . One of the most electric crowds we've had in a while with friends from allll over - our second Escapar Center Camp set did not disappoint!
