The anachoic, blistering tones of Balanced push the vinyl medium to it's absolute limits with Heavy, HEAVY bass and incredulously well produced embellishments making this a DJ tool for the year 3000.

Leisure laces the flip with something a little closer to the present day no thanks to barely melodic musical structures peeling away to reveal the rhythmic intricacies and soul rattling subsonics that roll effortlessly through to the bitter end. REWIND.

Armand Jakobsson aka @DJ-seinfeld doesn't seem content with sitting still---not halfway through 2017 are we introduced to the multitalented producer's 5th release in as many months, under his third nom de plume no less. This outing comes under the alias Birds of Sweden, from the increasingly reliable and tactile UN.T.O. imprint (@grassochecola). UN.T.O. is hot off the heels of the well-received Dream Technology EP from Jack Roland, an acerbic collection of "dreamy electro hi-fi rave", and is showing no signs of stopping as they put out one of Jakobsson's most caustic affairs yet. The eponymous EP hones in on the producer's desire to lend his indelible touch to the world of Jungle music---across the entire EP, the breaks rush like whitewater rapids and barely leave room to gasp for air, but always with a ray of sunshine lighting the way forward.

Montreal based label @00-am are back with their third Various Artists 12” in as many years featuring friends from near and far! D. Tiffany, @acemo, Flørist, and Max Wyatt contribute a gambit of refreshing productions well-rounded enough to become a mainstay in any DJ bag.

Brooklyn’s AceMo is on a tear as of late. With respect flying in from all corners for his consistently solid productions and DJ sets, the man is heading towards big stages. “Dub 2 Toronto,” his contribution to the 003, is a melancholy dub-influenced affair soaked in ethereal pads and lo-fi mechanics. Bubbling through the haze is an infectious sub-aqueous bassline sure to pull some afters zombies out of their K-holes. This is a track for late-night drives. Throw it on in the Acura and let it slither through your speakers as you meander aimlessly through the quiet streets of your town or city.

The 00:AM 003 is set for vinyl and digital release in October or November. Keep an eye out.

Somewhere, out there upon the horizon was something more, something beautiful. It could be achieved, not only through hope alone but by a magical dream, something which they shared. If it were meant to be, a way out of this place, then that was all that they could hope for. The white clouds hung thick in the evening sky as the heat still burnt down from the heavens up above, this place was a barren land, a desolate destination built only for outcasts and lost souls. It was here that they wandered and weaved a path towards a better future. 

Pace Yourself is a party series and record label based out of Berlin, the next EP from the label comes in the form of something intriguing and mysterious. A 12" from YS, of whom we know little but receive a lot. A promising release purpose built for the well listened dancefloor.

Recorded in NYC in 2020, Fatal Fantazia is Tony Rainwater's third full length LP. Notably moodier than the previous records Psalm 63:7 and Into The Rainbow Flame, the new album contains brooding and dramatic piano samples throughout. Breakbeats and sharp transitions still abound, giving the record an atmosphere of a live DJ set.
