Velas became known worldwide with the great conductor Quincy Jones and with the extraordinary participation of Toots Thielemans. Ivan Lins is a great composer Brazilian and one of the most recorded and respected. I'm a big fan. George Benson recorded several songs, as well as great singers of Jazz. I come here humbly put that cloud my vision for this beautiful song of Ivan. Special guest of my dear friend Alvaro Dabus in Flugelhorn, who invited me to this challenge and to honor his dear Father Abrahim Dabus!

Jazz tenorist Daniel Moran reworks two Coltrane originals and a Rollins classic in the post-bop jazz genre for this demo.  The Jazz standard "Autumn Leaves" is added to balance the set of what can be termed post-modern jazz.  This demo is compiled to whet the listener's appetite for more of this classic genre re-worked and re-visited.  Forthcoming gigs will be posted on the facebook page.
