My most recent recording of my very first song, my truest story out of all my songs.

We've been the best of friends for so, so long
I've done my best to mend, what I've done wrong
But one day, I had a change of ways
and so I had to write this song

My first track of 2017, a simple acoustic track about my love/hate relationship with social media. It's very useful but I hate relying on it and depending on social interaction on the internet for happiness and solace

The last stanza is a cheeky reference to the song 'Ace' by my good friends, Brisbane Indie Rock band 'Dave is a Spy'.

Shane enjoys putting new spins on contemporary hits with his own unique flavour while also exposing his audience to little known songs and Blues standards, some of which as old as 100 years. 

When playing live, Shane's main goal is to feel like the audience is invited into his living room with him to enjoy the music he's playing for them. 

When not playing music, Shane can be found at a local Charity shop or Pawnbroker's, searching to add to his collection of eclectic instruments and other noise making devices, including a suitcase, tambourine, desk bell and rug (Ok, that last one doesn't make noise, but it's very homey).
