Lyrically, Seein' Red speaks to the anxieties of stationary living and the fleeting nature of youth, though there is a peace in recognizing the moments and people in between.

Burnout is comprised of a beautifully harmonic bass track with steady off-time drums. The two are accompanied by vocals that encapsulate the idea of dealing with heartache, lingering obsession, and unwarranted desires. The overall sound is an easy ride, until the choruses, where it charges and shifts into an electrically distorted sonic space.

Sledgehammer opens strong, then shifts between funk-inspired verses and distorted choruses, the drums and bass each adding their own blend of dynamics and sound. Its lyrics address lingering negative feelings and the sometimes self-destructive push against them, matching the hot and cold energy of the instrumental tracks.
