Hello, I am Shane Lennon. Ever since I was a young child I have had a very strong passion and interest for music. After hearing albums my mother would play in the car and house, I fell in love and knew what I wanted to do with my life. Hearing artists/bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, Berry White, Frank Zappa, Styx, Super Tramp, The Rolling Stones, Boston, Aerosmith, Janis Joplin, and so many others, made me beyond fall in love with Rock & Roll, R&B/Soul, and blues. That's when I knew, after hearing music like this, that I was determined to be a "rock star". We had a few acoustic guitars around the house that I would mess around on, but never really learned of continued to play until I got older and received my first electric guitar.  Before getting my guitar, I played the snare/bass drum in my elementary school band for a couple years. I liked it, but the guitar was my calling. In the 7th grade is when I got my first electric guitar and when it all started for me. I taught myself using tabs from the internet, watching people play/videos, and listening to songs. I also have always loved writing from a young age. I would always write poems and sometimes short stories. Once learning the guitar and getting older, I heavily got into writing poems and songs. With my passion and interest for music, it led me to learn the bass and eventually the piano, mandolin, and learning to sing.  For me, being a musician is not for the riches and fame, but for me to get into peoples minds and hearts. I want to have people relate to my music, tap their feet or hands to the beat, sing along, dance, and enjoy it. Just like the way my influences did to me, I want to share that feeling. Of course I want to make a career out of this and make money, but I do not want to be a sell out, selfish prick, stuck up, or a glamour queen like so many modern artists. Their passion and dream is money, mine is in the music itself.
