And so we started out into the night, down towards the waterfront where there was the sound of music and shouts and drunken oaths, he was talking quietly all the while about this and that, about a girl he had fallen in love with. From that he switched back to the Baron de Charlus and then to Kurtz who had gone up the river and got lost. His favorite theme. I liked the way he moved against this background of literature continuously; it was like a millionaire who never stepped out of his Rolls Royce. There was no intermediate realm for him between reality and ideas. When we entered the whorehouse on the Quai Voltaire, after he had flung himself on the divan and rung for girls and for drinks, he was still paddling up the river with Kurtz, and only when the girls had flopped on the bed beside him and stuffed his mouth with kisses did he cease his divagations. Ka:lu escaped from the empty land with his Arp and took the nowhere’s road. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These tracks can teach you how to give beauty to the people. Kaöb, DIBIDABO, AmuAmu, Chomba and Zuma Dionys are giving love and beauty and warm feelings in their own unique way.

The Temple of Pillagi was a Late Archaic temple on the underwater mythical city of Atlantis. The myth says that the temple was built around 530 BC and was one of the earliest Ionic temples. It was built completely from Naxian marble. Based on some undefined information, the sanctuary was probably dedicated to Demeter or perhaps Kore. For this reason and because of its unusual shape, the temple is often referred to as a telesterion. There are also indications of a cult to Apollo on the site. If still in use by the 4th century AD, the temple would have been closed during the persecution of pagans under the Christian emperors. In the 6th century AD, the temple was largely demolished and a three-naved Christian basilica was built from the same stone on the same site.

The night was beautiful. The Moon was as soft as lace. The stars in the wide open skies were so bright like millions of fireflies. I was feeling warm, reading poetry and drinking a cup of hot tea. Love is everywhere and so is the absence of it. He turned his head on the right and he saw her sleeping. Her hair the color of an autumn leaf, her face the same brown tint as the fingerless glove on her knee. Two hours before she told me without comment that she was engaged to another man. I doubted that though there were several she could have married at a nod of her head but I pretended to be surprised. DJ Phellix & Amir Sheykh enjoying their time under the silver Moon in the Garden of Eden. This is their first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can grow the spirit of hope inside your dreams. Ayala (IT) and Serkan Eles are the gardeners of the most precious and colorful flowers of the garden.

Abou Diarra was born in 1975 in the region of Sikasso in southern Mali, home of the music Wassoulou (African blues). As the son of a great hunter-witch doctor, the singer was initiated into mystical knowledge. He began playing music" from an early age, accompanying his mother to the ceremonies and traditional festivals. A N'Goni is made from a gourd, a gazelle skin, bamboo and fishing line. It is a traditional instrument from Mali and is a cross between the harp and guitar. "Koya Blues" is an amazing African/Mali-Blues beauty and is transformed into a Downtempo/Bluesy heaven by Olendo

Fela Aníkúlápó Kútì was a Nigerian musician and political activist. He is regarded as the principal innovator of Afrobeat, a Nigerian music genre that combines West African music with American funk and jazz. Kuti was the son of Nigerian women's rights activist Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. After early experiences abroad, he and his band Africa '70  shot to stardom in Nigeria during the 1970s, during which he was an outspoken critic and target of Nigeria's military juntas. In 1970, he founded the Kalakuta Republic commune, which declared itself independent from military rule. The commune was destroyed in a 1978 raid that injured Kuti and his mother. He was jailed by the government of Muhammadu Buhari in 1984, but released after 20 months. He continued to record and perform through the 1980s and 1990s. "Lady" is one of his trademark tracks and was released back in 1972 as 7" single in Kenya and in 1983 as a 12" single in Europe. Orkidz pays his tribute to the legendary Afro producer and transforms "Lady" into an Organic-House/Afro-House heaven!!

Opera Kalma-Macabre Lights (Firewrks Remix)

Goblin are an Italian progressive rock band most famous for their soundtracks for Dario Argento movies. Having started out as Oliver (making a few demo tapes) they recorded one album as Cherry Five. During the completion of this album, Dario Argento helped bring over the members to score his film Profondo Rosso (1975). The band was successful during the late 1970s to early 1980s. "Profondo Rosso" soundtrack was released in 1975 by Cinevox Records and it was a truly masterpiece, a classic piece of Cinematica beauty from past till present. Chalanga pays their tribute to Goblin and transform the Progressive Rock/Cinematica vibes of the track to a modern Downtempo paradise!

“At least no homes were destroyed,” the villagers said to each other, “and we know everyone is safe.” Well, everyone except for Minli, they added silently. Ma and Ba said nothing when their neighbors paused awkwardly. They helped pick up the broken branches, swept broken bits of pottery and tiles from the street, and nailed shutters. At night, they quietly sat together at the ta-ble with the goldfish. Though Ma had heard nothing, Ba remembered the fish’s words about the fear in the wind. It filled him with worry and he waited for the fish to speak again. However, it remained oddly silent. Finally, when Ma was busy helping a neighbor, Ba tried to question the fish. “During the storm you said there was fear in the wind,” Ba said to the fish. “Whose fear was it? Was it Minli’s? Was she afraid of something?”. Idin Gorji left the moon and the sky for a country that loves. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These tracks will ac-celerate your nervous system..

“Yes, she would,” Ba said, and he too began to laugh. “She would laugh until she cried.”
Their laughter intertwined but when they looked at each other, they could see the tears forming were not from joy. Minli was so tired that she could barely remember what happened when they entered the village. She hardly remembered the clamor of people gathering around them and the loud cheers as Da-A-Fu told about the destruction of the Green Tiger. And she vaguely remembered the big, soft hug of an elderly woman who pushed her inside a welcoming house. But she did remember the cozy, lovely feeling of falling into a bed, like holding a warm steamed bun on an icy day. And then Minli closed her eyes and slept. Robin Hoshi is a gentleman from far-east places. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks whisper loudly but scream quietly. Sebastian Hal, Solar Kings and Stiko save their energy for the next oasis.

When she woke up, three round faces peered above her like plump peaches. They were Da-Fu, A-Fu, and Amah, their grandmother. Each of the children, dressed in their red waddedcotton outfits (the rip in Da-Fu’s pants was now patched), had little moveable stoves with them. With the heaters and all of them crowded in the room, Minli felt as if she were in a warm oven of kindness. She smiled. “Good morning!” Amah said. The children giggled. “Good night!” Da-Fu said. “You slept the whole day! Pretty soon it’ll be time to go to bed again! “Now Da-A-Fu, don’t tease the girl,” Amah said. “Obviously, she was very tired. Orama is a form that takes place in consciousness and does not comes from the senses but from phantasy, as an extension of experiential experience. The form of Orama is not limited to only one “sense” (like vision) and many times can includes spiritual qualities like emotions. Orama is the “compass”, the “light” that somebody follows in order to reach his destination. Is the source of inspiration for the right choices or the new rules while, at the same time, gives the ability to control the rules of a policy by setting the morality that must condition them. Amah poured some tea from a pot and handed Minli a cup. Minli sipped it gratefully. The steaming liquid slipped down her throat smoothly, and seemed to fill every part of her with a fresh energy. She took another sip of tea and breathed in the tangy fragrance, which smelled familiar. “This is nice tea,” Minli said. “Thank you.” “It’s not tea!” A-Fu said. “It’s the medicine that cures the tiger’s poison.” “It is tea as well,” Amah said. “It is good whether you have been touched by the Green Tiger or not.” Minli stopped drinking. “Is there enough of this for the dragon?” Minli asked, remembering how A-Gong had asked them to bring more medicine. “Maybe we should take this to him.” Da-A-Fu laughed again. “Don’t worry,” they said, “we have a lot of it! It’s made from the leaves of the flowering trees.”

When the Green Tiger discovered us four moons ago, we quickly learned he was not an ordinary tiger. It was not his color or his size, it was the anger he had for us. First, he attacked our livestock — the sheep, the pigs, the chickens — but not to eat, just to kill. He taunted us with his evil, leaving the dying animals in a row outside our door. Whatever animals he did not kill outright, died within an hour or so from the vile poison of the tiger’s touch. We knew it was just a matter of time before he caught one of us. We kept the children and whatever animals we had left inside. A-Gong, my husband, studied furiously, trying to find out more about this powerful monster who tormented us. Musical Religion is a gentleman you’ve met in a past life. This is his first offering for Shango Records. This track will guide you through enlightenment. Marc Cerrone is a French disco drummer, composer, record producer and creator of concerts. Cerrone is a producer of 1970s and 1980s disco songs. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, including over four million copies in France, and eight million copies of Supernature. The single "Love in C Minor" (1976) reached No. 3 and was in the charts for two months, selling three million copies. With "Supernature" (1977), Cerrone merged symphonic orchestration with synthesisers. At the 1978 Billboard Disco Forum, Cerrone received six awards, including Disco Artist of the Year. His third album, Supernature, sold over eight million albums worldwide.[12] A departure from the lush orchestration with electronic instrumentation added to the mix, it was co-written by Alain Wisniak. The lyrics to "Supernature", written by Lene Lovich, have a sci-fi theme: it concerns the rebellion of mutant creatures—created by scientists to end starvation among mankind—against the humans. As soon as he left I carefully rushed to the gate. The tiger had left a strange array of objects. There was a piece of a broken vase with a moon on it, a mangled child’s jacket, and two deep claw marks scratched into the stone. I knew it was a message, but what did it say? The only person who would know would be A-Gong. But he was sick and dying from the tiger’s poison. My eyes filled with tears as I rushed inside. It was hard for me to keep from crying and I was blinded by my own tears. So, it was only when the fragrance filled the air that I realized that the water I was boiling had leaves from the flowering trees in it. SVNR (RU) opened into the hill a spacious wound and digged out ribs of gold. This is his second offering for Shango Records. This track will hold your hand as you cross the road. A-Gong looked grave as he examined the objects. Just as I thought, he knew right away what it meant. “What is the Green Tiger saying?”A-Fu asked. “It says if we give him two children every month, he will leave us in peace,” A-Gong said. “This is the start of his punishment for us — the way we are to pay penance for our ancestors.” “How does it say that?” Da-Fu asked.“Two claw marks next to a child’s clothes means he wants two children, and the vase is a symbol of peace, the moon on it means every month. So he offers us a month of peace for two children,” A-Gong said.
Dj Shan fell asleep in Dubai and awoke days later in Tanzanian archipelago. This is his first of-fering for Shango Records. This track will make you thirst for exotic nectars. Chris Goa and Lucas Lead are the masters of nutmeg and cinnamon.

I had to smile. It was always like that with BEYHUDE. He had a genius for creating pure beauty, Downtempo, dreamy, spaceless, Electronica grooves. Anyway, the rainy season was coming on, the long, dreary stretch of grease and fog and squirts of rain that make you damp and miserable. An execrable place in the winter, Istanbul! A climate that eats into your soul, that leaves you bare as the Labrador coast. I noticed with some anxiety that the only means of heating the place was the little stove in the studio. However, it was still comfortable. And the view from the studio window was superb. In the morning the sun was there. I would settle back for a final snooze. Sometimes I would lie abed till noon. There was nothing pressing, except to finish the release, and that didn't
worry me much because I was already convinced that nobody would accept it anyway. Nevertheless, everybody was much impressed by it. When the others arrived in the evening with a bottle under their arms the first thing they did were to go to the table and see if things are ready. And, finally, are. BOUBOUTEQ and ISAQUE SOLARIS were on it too.  Four pieces of beauty for the love of music. And I liked the idea of dreaming the Bosphorus in the background.

She sat there as usual, but time had changed her. She had grown thin, and her face seemed longer, if only because her cheeks were hollow. The locks of hair that escaped from her scarf were turning gray and made her seem older than she was. The beauty spot on her cheek had grown slightly larger. In addition to their customary look of submission, her eyes now revealed a mournful absent-mindedness. Her anguish over the changes that had befallen her was considerable, although at first she had welcomed them as an expression of her grief. Then she had begun to wonder anxiously if she might not need her health to get through the remainder of her life. Yes. . .and the others needed her to be healthy too, but how could everything be put back the way it was before? And she was older, if not old enough to warrant such a transformation. Still, her age had to make a difference.Night after night she had stood on the balcony observing the street through the wooden grille. What she could see of the street had not altered, but change had crept through her. The voice of the waiter at the coffeehouse echoed through their silent room. In a village on the southern side of the Alborz Mountain, by the Caspian Sea, lived an old woman with her beautiful daughter. Her name was Moon. She had blue eyes that shined like two unblemished turquoise gems; her long eyelashes curved upward. Her eyebrows hung like quarter moons when she opened her eyes. She had silky white skin like the color of snow and breathtakingly long black hair that hung over her slender shoulders. Everybody loved Moon and Moon loved life. She woke up at dawn, made tea for her mother, and prayed on the terrace, facing the Alborz Mountain, which were pointing in the direction of Mecca. Moon had a beautiful melodic voice and she loved to sing. After her morning prayer, she sat on the terrace, facing the rising sun, as it slowly peeked out from behind the mountain, spreading its rays over the valley below, and then, second by second, slowly spread a shaft of light over the sea. She loved to gaze at the unfolding of a new day from her terrace. She praised God and sang a harmonious tune, first in a soft voice, repeating the words, “Praise to God who created the heaven and earth.” Then as the beam of light widened over the valley, her voice continued its enchanting tune, in harmony with cardinals singing in magnolia trees in the yard. She repeated over and over, “Praise to God who created the heaven and earth.” Majnoon are bringing the silver moon into the shores of Istanbul. This is their first offering for Shango Records. There two tracks will guide you to a trip in the East side. Antonio Alterino, Touzani and Duygu Civas are drinking Raki and eating Baklava.

One day, King Khosrow and his entourage went to hunt deer on the plains far in the central regions of Persia. The king was astonished when his entourage came upon an old man in his nineties, barely standing up, who was planting fig trees. “Don’t you know it takes thirty years for fig trees to grow?” asked the king, “It is time for you to give thanks for your blessing of a long life and get ready for the other world.” The old man replied, “Our fathers planted fig trees and we ate figs from them. I am planting trees for those who will come after me and, by my good deed; I am getting ready for the other world.”
