About this EP  : 
The 4 Elements of nature, with their freedom and wisdom, take us to places of synergy with Mother Earth and human spiritual enrichment. Wind is freedom, Earth is balance, Water represents the ability to flow and Fire is passion and energy. Conceived by the talented Spanish producer UNAM in collaboration with the awesome singer Lola Nahual, together with a team of unique creative magicians such as; Mom, Thommie G, Sangeet, Lev Tatarov, and Serkan Eles, los 4 Elementos is a diverse and deep journey to enjoy.
The track ¨Los 4 Elementos¨ highlights the deep voice of Lola Nahual, along with ¨Its just a ride¨ inspired by Bill Hicks and one of his famous monologues, after that ¨Dragon Azul¨ is dedicated to the mystical flight and the life of this mythical creature plus all the other remixes which come with their unique taste each one of them. “Buddy System” came out in 2020, and featured eight original tracks. Each track saw Sabo team up with a different producer from around the globe, and the release featured collaborations with Dandara, Hot Oasis, Namito, UNER, Saint Flip, Noema, Metrika and SidiRum.

This new release breathes fresh life into a classic release that fuses electronic sounds and melodies influenced by cultures from around the world with indigenous rhythms of organic percussion. Sabo is a globetrotting DJ who has compiled 25 years of collecting music into his own productions, and Buddy System blends that with the influence of other artists and friends who he has met on his travels.

Many of the original tracks on this release charted inside the sales charts of websites such as Beatport, and often the original versions are still played to packed dance floors at festivals and nightclubs across the world.

Long time fans of Sol Selectas will recognise many of the artists who collaborated on the original plus the people behind the new remixes, but it also features special guests including the likes of Get Physical label owner DJ T. and DJ Chus of Chus & Ceballos.

Just like the original release, this epic package includes a varied selection of house music styles including tribal, afro, downtempo, minimal, melodic and deep. Each has an immersive atmosphere with psychedelic vibes and a sun-drenched groove.

Helia Jamali re-imagines her own artwork by brightening up the original and shining a light on the diversity of this incredible release.

Niko Schwind and Robbie Akbal team up in Berlin last year during a few studio sessions collaborating with Ay Sarita to wrap a powerful organic anthem called ¨Caminando de Noche¨ filled with mystic elements and driving music .

It was a great tune featured in our 15 years of Akbal Music compilation, that we asked Noraj Cue and Landikhan , some amazing producers at the moment to remix the track.

Noraj Cue from Happy Campers and Tale & Tone delivers a fat groover with shinny melodic elements & epic journey on the breakdown playing nicely with the vocal and some quirky sounds finalizing a great arrangement.

Landikhan from Spain delivers a more mid tempo indie disco ish vibes oriented remix very groovy and full of great sounds that will make some magic all around.
Such a wonderful pair of remixes, we are more than excited to welcome this two hyper talented producers to the Akbal Music family.

However much these nations differ about trifles, they all agree in liking fairy tales. The reason, no doubt, is that men were much like children in their minds long ago, long, long ago, and so before they took to writing newspapers, and sermons, and novels, and long poems, they told each other stories, such as you read in the fairy books. They believed that witches could turn people into beasts that could speak, that magic rings could make their owners invisible, and all the other wonders in the stories. Then, as the world became grown-up, the fairy tales which were not written down would have been quite forgotten but that the old grannies remembered them, and told them to the little grandchildren: and when they, in their turn, became grannies, they remembered them, and told them also. So the new SHANGO RECORDS EP is a compilation and includes seven amazing remixes for your personal book of tales.  Songs about love, hate, broken dreams, suffocation and holding hands.
