This is a track that transitions from Hiphop to Drum & Bass to Rock.

Originally called 'Instant Tragedy', this song was written around the start of the war and takes the Y2k22 bug (did you know there is also a Y2k38 bug?) as a metaphor for how humanity - probably the actual bug - is destroying everything and how poorly this year is already going for the world.

it seems so different from the original, as it
broke IT systems, but this time
we broke society, yep, we absolutely smashed it!
you can read all about it online, all the crashes
but nothing about how to fix all this madness
it’s very different from then at the turn of the century
back when this habit/ wasn't yet established
Now if there's information out there, I gotta have it
so I'm always eager and ready to go down the rabbit
hole, but not back then when I was like a savage
not that things are really that civilized now, has it
even improved since then on average? I don't know
every single ad is/ a distraction, that's the leverage
making you pay premium to enjoy the advantage
of easy access to content and brand message

I started producing & recording around 2002. Around that time I was also playing concerts and always felt at home on stage, which comes to no surprise as the child of a professional musician. I just grew up improvising on all kinds of instruments, so the addition of singing and rapping - especially freestyle - was just a natural progression from that.
