Shanita Rush is a Rapper/Singer/Songwritter, Actress and Model.

Shanita worked diligently to sharpen and develop her craft. It wasn't long before she captured the attention of many people in the music industry and began collaborating with local and nationally recognized producers. Shanita released her first single “Take Me Home” on iTunes in October 2009. December 2010 Shanita released her first mixtape “The Last Bad B*tch”, nearly two-thirds of the songs on the mixtape were engineered by Shanita. In June 2012, Shanita signed a two year contract with 5050 Music Group/ INgroove-Fontana/Universal Music Group. In January 2013 “Rush Hour” The Mixtape was released. 

Shanita has chosen to go back to her roots as an independent artist, and continuously evolves as an entertainer, pursuing new and innovative ways to revolutionize the Hip-Hop music world. She adds actress and model to her list of artistic expression and talents, with rolls in 2 indie films, cable, and web series. It's apparent that the camera loves her pretty face, and her 5’8” hourglass frame. Shanita has graced the covers of many entertainment news magazines, often times as both model of the month and the featured artist.
