"Alchemy of Life" is a tribute to Maria Skłodowska-Curie, who was one of the few people in the world to win two Nobel Prizes in two different fields: physics and chemistry. It reminds us that every step in science, although it can lead to great discoveries, carries risks, even mortal ones. Despite this, Maria Skłodowska-Curie constantly strived to expand the frontiers of knowledge, aware of the dangers her research posed. "The Emigrant" is a tribute to the painter Albert Bierstadt, who immortalized the dramatic scenes of the great European emigration to the United States. The piece focuses on the hope that emigrants took with them, gazing upon the words "Hope on the Lord" before setting sail. Upon arrival in America, their hope was transferred to the motto "In God We Trust," which appears on American banknotes. The composition captures the emotions associated with separation from their homeland, but also the hope for a new beginning. The message of the piece emphasizes the importance of faith and hope for emigrants, who are often called the descendants of devils. The entire piece is full of energy and optimism, reflecting the spirit of the times.
