Celebrating 25 years of A R Rahman and Mani ratnam and Vairamuthu.

From 1992 to 2017, the collaboration between Mani Ratnam, A R Rahman and Vairamuthu has been one of sheer passion, music and poetry.

This video is a mashup of the iconic songs from the amazing movies where they have worked together to create magic every single time. We hope to see them work together for many more years to come.

It was quite a task to try and constrain ourselves to make a video that is only a few minutes long and yet do justice to all the amazing melodies featured in this video. We hope we have managed to create something that you all will also like as much as we do.

Anthaathi Tamil Song | 96 Movie

recorded on board a rowboat on the river Ganges - this recording begins at the funeral pyres and continues to the area where evening prayer ceremony is held.  The Ganges is the holiest river in the Hindu faith. People are cremated alongside the river, and their ashes spread into the river itself, 24 hours a day everyday of the year.

A track I'm writing dedicated to a friend of mine and some friends to be ( ;-) ) uploading this now before fills and proper melodic material. Just so that whoever is curious to listen can have a listen. I'd imagine the finished version should be up in a few weeks when i set up my studio and do it proper in a good sounding room with my gear :-)
