Going through my archive of music... uploading some of my favorites.  This one is from the Smith's (Mayfield, KY).  I was privileged to be apart of their family, Sis. Smith called me her "red-headed step child".  This was recorded at the Campground; unfortunately I do not have the year, but I would estimate somewhere 1985-1989. (Photo is me and Sonja Smith).

"Just Wanted You to Know"
This is a deeply intimate and tender Acoustic Ballad framed as a quiet, direct message to a former partner. The mood is bittersweet, reflective, and warm with nostalgia, focusing on the permanent, priceless value of small, shared memories rather than the pain of loss.

Musical Style & Vibe
Genre: Folk / Acoustic Singer-Songwriter / Melancholy Pop Ballad.

Vibe: Intimate, conversational, and raw. The song should sound like it was recorded late at night in a living room. The lyrics are actually inspired by a cold, wet night camping near to Spiddal Pier in Galway.
