Shana Ray is an Indigenous Larakia  woman from Darwin  who captivates her audience with her lyrics which are written from  real life experiences.

With  guidance  from  her  grandfather,  Shana  taught  herself  guitar  and  has  
Since been  writing  and  performing  her  original songs from the  age  of  13.

Shana  has  been  involved  with  Music NTs  Desert  Divas Indigenous women's project  since  2012  and  through  this  has  gained  recognition  and  requests  to  perform  at  Festivals  and  other  annual  events  in  Darwin,  as well as private  functions .

Most recently her song
"Flowers Will Bloom"  is  featured  on  the  Desert  Divas  Vol  II  album,  available  through  iTunes.

Shana's most recent involvements include a performance at the 2017 annual Bush Bands Bash, 2018 Malandarri and Yirrkala Yarrapay Festival and a music tour through the Northern Territory with shows in Borroloola , Nhulunbuy, Tennant Creek, Ali Curung, Elliot, Darwin and Katherine.
