Happy Early Independence Day!  This song was inspired by an older fellow who lives in Argo, Alabama and always works in his field alongside Sanie Road, my football coaching experiences, and marrying Heather and having Rae (which is the best thing to ever happen to us)!!

The Lives of the Innocent is a brand new single from Shannon and Heather Slaughter & County Clare.  It is the first release from their upcoming cd, One More Road, which will be released March 15.  This is an original Civil War ballad written by Shannon Slaughter and he is featured on guitar and vocals; along with Heather Slaughter on bass and vocals, Ron Inscore on mandolin, John Boulware on fiddle and Casey Murray on banjo.

Track # 2 from our upcoming cd "One More Road".  This song, "I Might Be", was written by Tommy Dutton and features the amazing vocals of Heather Slaughter.  Ron Inscore on mandolin and harmony vocals, John Boulware on fiddle, Casey Murray on banjo, and Shannon Slaughter on guitar and harmony vocals add the finishing touch to this track.
