Swirling within the coiled serpent's tail stands a portal portraying a shimmering expanse of sun-scorched savannah. Seemingly devoid of animate life, only a scant few acacia trees provide shelter for any would-be traveler beneath the heat of the blood-red star that shines above. In the vision before you, even the very ground seems to be scarred by the searing temperature that emanates from the mouth of the portal. The land within is barren, pockmarked as the skin of one who has been touched by roaring flame. At one time, perhaps, some water did flow here, but the remnants of its course are covered in a glassy filament that is baked into the sand below. 

This exsanguinated artery of the land stands before you as the sole path through this hostile world that the Vision Serpent presents. Oft is it said amongst questing adventurers that the harshest of landscapes hold the greatest of treasures, the secrets that may have brought them to ruin or the knowledge capable of restoring them to their former glory. The portal lies open before you - will you accept the Serpent’s searing trial and venture forth into the world of the blood-red sun?

Following in quick succession to their debut release, VISION SERPENT now presents GEORGI Z’s “BAD INFLUENCE EP” as the second locale within the label’s interdimensional survey of myriad sonic lands. Within the EP, GEORGI Z provides a tripartite trail of tracks to lead listeners on their journey, beginning with the brooding atmosphere of the titular “Bad Influence” and progressing “Into the Past” along the divergent timelines of GEORGI Z’s original track and an accompanying remix by VISION SERPENT founder DAVID PHOENIX.

Aaron King is a DJ and producer from the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. Growing up with a parents who were heavily into electronic music and his dad being a DJ for over a decade, it was inevitable that he would follow in his fathers footsteps. Beginning DJing in 2016, he has played at some of the best and most renowned underground events that NSW has to offer, including nightclubs, underground rave parties at secret locations around Sydney and in the NSW bush doofs by delivering sets of weighted minimal techno with psychedelic influences.

Starting the journey into production in 2017 Aaron has experimented with a vast array of genres, but recently pinpointed his focus on dark minimal techno having released on labels such as Allfriends Records, Music4Clubbers, Music4Aliens and Joker Black Label he's already established a reputation of a versatile and talented producer.
