Dubfire & Flug team up for the ‘Magma’ two-tracker on CLR.

Dubfire & Flug join forces for the ‘Magma’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR imprint, landing 27th September 2024. The EP marks SCI+TEC boss and Deep Dish legend Dubfire’s debut on CLR, with Argentinian techno lynchpin Flug returning to the label for the first time since his ‘Sincrodestino’ EP in 2014.

Dubfire & Flug’s ‘Magma’ EP on CLR starts with the title track, which sees crackling dub hits echo up top whilst deep low-end courses beneath its steady groove. ‘Magma’ is a raw and overwhelming force destined for late nights on powerful systems, enthralling dancers with its cavernous drops and frenzied soundscapes. ‘Friction’ then eases us in with whirring, electrifying acid as distant synths inch closer, culminating in a shadowy and hypnotic warehouse cut. With the ‘Magma’ EP, Dubfire and Flug provide us with a set of tracks perfect for peak time, which are guaranteed to create unforgettable high-impact dance floor moments.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like DEAS, Shlomi Aber, Drumcell, Truncate and more while also focussing on developing newer acts in the scene such as B. Riley, The Southern, and Klint.

We welcome back Phoenix's finest, Juheun, for another EP on Tronic. In Gods House, he focused on sampling a classic vocal and building a raw techno groove around it. Dont is a hypnotic groover influenced by Joey Beltram. Its simple and effective! To sweeten up the package, we have recruited one of our favorite Japanese artists, Ken Ishii, for remix duties. He delivered a hard groove version that rocks any house!

Shanti And Me was first struck by the techno virus in the early 1990s — when dancefloors in shadowy clubs and warehouses blossomed into pulsing cathedrals of sound.

In the early 2000s, Shanti And Me began producing music — starting as an experiment, later evolving into a vivid creative vision. Since then, the sonic palette has spanned from Peak Time Techno, with driving intensity, to Progressive House, with layered grooves and flowing structures, all the way to Chill Out, where soundscapes breathe and time unfolds.
