Shanti is a Chicago-based DJ who explores philosophical themes of existential angst and ambiguity through longing foreboding, apocalyptic techno, angsty EBM, and squishy acid sounds. 

Her sets weave a story of the simultaneous despair and yearning that are intertwined with the human condition. Shanti also plays in the DJ duo, Evanti.

Shanti cohosts Otherworldly Ambiguity, an experience centered around the phenomenon of liminality, occupying the spaces in between and outside of pre-existing concepts and rigid categories.
