Greenux makes his debut release on the Psy Jelly and we are more than excited to have him. The two track E.P starts off with a more melodic and psy-chill feeling, a flowing river of sound that's progression provides a juxtaposition to a lot of psybass and downtempo music. Keeping us on tenterhooks through gentle evolution that teases us with anti-drops and trickles out a sound experience which keeps us guessing whats going to come next. Based in psy-chill the track “Blooming Trees” provides a more after-party sound that creates a gentle yet dynamic structure of melodies, beats and drums that perpetuates relaxation and stimulation at the same time.

The juxtaposition between his first track and the second is what makes this E.P so intriguing. How Greenux is able to transition us between psy chill and thumping psychedelic dub: squelchy bouncy basslines and dance floor drops that permeate the atoms of our body to a point where in the living room, or the darkness of a nightclub, you cannot help but rock backwards and forwards, let alone be forced to move your body without any choice.

Psywamp - EurythmY & Quanta -  Dream Before You Sleep EP

The Copenhagen-based artist Muskila is set to release his new EP, "OK, Fatma," on the 4th of March. The EP takes the listener through emotive club music, incorporating North Kurdish timbres and delving into the realms of bassy dubs. Muskila originally had an EP ready in October last year but decided to delete all tracks and write something completely different that was relevant to the world as he experienced it. The EP was written between October and December 2023 and is a product of how the artist sees the world changing. The visuals for the music portray a contemporary dancer, embodying the concept of being stuck, either physically or mentally.

Furthermore, the EP has 2 remixes and 1 collaborative song. The 1st one from Siu Mata, who has made a name for himself on the club scene with his versatility and genre-bending productions. The 2nd remix is from the Nyege Nyege affiliated artist, DJ Travella, who is responsible for the most exhilarating music of recent years, injecting crackling cybernetic energy into singeli in a semi-improvisational style. Lastly the collaborative song is made with, HEDO HYDR8, an artist who emerges from the rave-rich grounds of Denmark to create immersive, transcendental musical experiences.

Source notes:
- In February 2019 I was building a completely different song which included these percussion grooves from Kursten. At some point I solo'd the acoustic percussion group and realized that its groove could be taken in another direction. I saved a new version of the project, deleted everything but the hand drums, and started over from there - Strong Tea was born.
- Many of the strange chirps and bloops were created using free VSTs from xoxos including oscine tract, synger, and kl tract, all of which I downloaded more than a decade ago.
- The vocal samples that got sliced up for this track came from a collection I downloaded on Freesound in 2008. Thanks Katy, whoever you are!
