11 Years of "Shanti Powa", 11 years of dreaming and this is only the beginning.

The 12 band members & their team have combined their forces with legendary Dub maestro "Gaudi" for their 4th album "Dreamer", who was responsible for the whole production, arrangement, mix & Dub Versions.

Back in 2019 the band met "Gaudi" at the "Boomtown Fair" in the UK and there the seed for "Dreamer" was planted. End of the year the production started, Because of Covid19 it had to take place from different studios reaching from Italy to London. Many friends of the band have been involved such as "CW Jones" and "Danny Ladwa" from London, "Tom Spirals" & "Escape Roots" from Scotland, "Raggabund" from Germany and "Amelia Wattson" from Italy. All mastered by the one & only "Guido Craveiro" (Sound engineer of "Seeed", "Gentleman"). The result are 5 original tracks, a Reggae cover of Uncertain Smile by "The The" & 6 Dub versions by "Gaudi".

In 2020 the band was supposed to celebrate their 10th anniversary & a big tour was planned. However because of Covid shows got cancelled from Scotland to South Korea. All of that however made the band only stronger & focused. Enjoy the 4th album of the unstoppable force that is Shanti Powa. The love for music is too big & their ambition to spread their message around the world even more.

Shanti Powa and singer-songwriter Faith Mussa first met in Washington DC in 2022 at the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC). As international fair play music ambassadors, they performed their first concert together at the iconic 9:30 Club in Washington DC, sharing the stage with Alesh and Rain in Sahara.
Following this memorable experience, Shanti Powa and Faith Mussa maintained their connection, leading to the creation of their collaborative track "OPPORTUNITY."
This world reggae song, enhanced by a singer-songwriter touch, features the distinctive voice of Malawian superstar Faith Mussa, giving the song a real international appeal.
"OPPORTUNITY" (Shanti Powa feat. Faith Mussa) is a song with a powerful message of hope and inspiration. Shanti Powa feat. Faith Mussa - Opportunity

Shanti Powa is an Italian reggae band formed in 2010 in Bolzano, known for
unique music style and powerful live shows. The name Shanti Powa combines
shanti (meaning peace) and powa (meaning power), reflecting their message
of unity, peace, and resistance. Their music mixes reggae with elements of
dub, ska, rap, rock, funk and electronic influences, often addressing
themes of social justice and empowerment. Shanti Powa’s high-energy live
shows and conscious lyrics have earned them a loyal following in Italy and
across Europe. The band has released 4 studio albums & numerous singles.
Their 4th album "Dreamer" was produced by London based Producer Gaudi.
Their last single "Opportunity" is a featuring with "Faith Mussa",
an internationally known musician from Malawi.

Herbert Pixner is a South Tyrolean musician known for his work across
various genres, including folk, jazz, classical, and contemporary music.
He founded the Herbert Pixner Project in 2005, which has toured extensively
in prestigious venues across Europe. Pixner has collaborated
with many notable artists and orchestras, and his projects blend
traditional Alpine music with modern influences. He has received several
awards, including the "Stern" from the Münchener Abendzeitung,
and has been nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award. In addition
to music, he has worked on theatres, TV shows, and film scores.
His latest projects include the Symphonic Alps tour and the album From the Dark Side of the Alps (2024).


The new single Box is a collaboration between Italian 10 piece Big
Band Shanti Powa & the world-famous maestro of accordion Herbert Pixner.
The song is a powerful fusion of World Music, Ska, Gipsy & Punk
with lyrics in Italian & English. Box talks about the beauty of individuality
and diversity and about not being categorised. The song is
against any form of judgement, about believing in yourself and being
proud of who you are. Also, about helping others and learning from
failures. About true individual & collective freedom in general. The
band hopes to touch peoples‘ souls with their music & message. This
