Here is a preview of an incredible Roots & Digi fusion track from Donovan Kingjay called 'Rebels With A Cause'. In this preview you can hear a Dubplate mix which will not be released, along with a Dub for Part 2 and Version as Part 3 if riding with a vocalist. This tune is an odd mix of one drop drums alongside deep synth, live piano and guitar, and deep Roots vocals from singer Donovan Kingjay. If you take a closer listen you will also notice this is a remake of the classic Rocksteady riddim made famous by The Paragons and John Holt, titled 'Riding On A High and Windy Day'.

Here is a reimagining of a classic Prince Jammys bit of Acetate Dubplate. There's a few floating around. Some in scratchy condition and a few worth listening to again and again. After getting a quality audio recording of one of the dubplates to realise this release never saw the light of day, we decided to approach Marshall Neeko to make a raw stripped back digi cut of the same riddim, at the same tempo and key. He then sent us the stems where we recorded some live synth and instrument parts, and sent it through desk with Space Echo and Grampian Spring Reverb. Here are 3 of 5 mixes done on the day! Patrick Andy on top form!!

Here is a super heavy and ruff Dubplate mix of a track recorded with veteran JA artist David Jahson. He sings of a peaceful world on this heavy Rubadub riddim, in a call for no more war or conflict. We met and on the same day he heard a riddim I was mixing and wanted to record. This is the result! Along with a raw and stripped back Dub mix, and a straight version.

This is a ruff mix, and there will be another mixing session for the 7"!
