TPF–004 is a special recording for us, not least because it comes in part from The Pickle Factory's newest resident, Leif.

The mix is a live recording from Leif's first residency party back in March. To mark the occasion, he invited a debut live set from Forest Drive West, a warmup from ace French selector Gigsta, and as the grand finale, a closing b2b with Leif joined by Livity Sound boss and fellow genre-bending UK selector, Peverelist.

Leif and Peverelist going toe to toe at peak time is exactly what The Pickle Factory was made for. Two of the UK's finest selectors, sharing the decks for the first time. A rabbit hole of a mix, they traverse through hypnotic techno and spaced out house, before finally settling on thunderous 180bpm rhythms. Or as Leif himself described it, "Jungle rinse out hour". Enjoy.
