ShaqIsDope is back with some new music and it's a surprise five-track EP called While You Wait. On social media, Shaq call the project "a gift to his supporters who have been waiting so patiently for new music" and said, "he hope this will keep the you fed whilst he finish off the album. The project has no features or collaborations.

After dropping a new single just a few weeks ago, ShaqIsDope is back with his latest single "Cali Love." The song catches ShaqIsDope in a contemplative mood as he pours his heart over a dark but bouncy production. Along with the new track, the Toronto-based MC announced that he is dropping a new project, Life And Times within the coming months, the follow up to 2020's Dark Days Ahead. "Cali Love," is part of a steady stream of songs that ShaqIsDope plans on dishing out before the release of his new project. Listen to "Cali Love" below, and be on the lookout for Life And Times, due out sometime this year.

ShaqIsDope has released a new song titled "Colombian Coke." The song is ShaqIsDope's first release of 2022 and was produced by Skeyez Beats. The song is rooted in his soulful foundation and on it, ShaqIsDope talks about keeping things raw, authentic and deeply personal while subconsciously uplifting and motivating those going through hard times to strive for more. It fits in well with the kind of music that his fans grew accustomed to. Early November , ShaqIsDope starred in a commercial for Tim Horton's new delivery app and did some voiceover work as well. Around the same time he began teasing a new project titled Life and Times. ShaqIsDope's most recent mixtape, Dark Days Ahead, was released in 2020. It the second offering from his forthcoming project, Life and Times, following the record's lead single, "Colombian Coke," which dropped last December before the official announcement. NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal hops on a track with Toronto MC ShaqIsDope to shoot some verbal ammo at British Comedian Michael Dapaah, better known as Big Shaq, Roadman Shaq or MC Quakes. The two previously teamed up on "Karate Chop (Freestyle)" but they've level their sights at the viral sensation with "Mans Not Hot." The track comes as a response to Big Shaq's freestyle on BBC Radio q's "Fire in the Booth" segment, where the joke grime artist first dropped bars that would later become known as the "The Ting Goes" meme. While the whole segment is hilarious, it was shaq's "the ting goes skrrraaa" part of the freestyle which set the twittersphere abuzz and led to this retaliation from the two other shaqs.
