We are proud to present you our 39th release. For this release we have Patrick Podage delivering an outstanding track with a remix from Atapy.

Patrick Podage is a producer and DJ from Berne, Switzerland. He is known for his great releases on Noir, Steyoyoke and Circle Music. His musical roots started with the piano and different percussive instruments at a very young age. Since he discovered the keyboard and the ability to combine and program different elements on it by himself, he has invested most of his free time and savings on studio gear. Today, Patrick Podage brings together all his knowledge to produce tracks in many different ways and clearly his music will always be varied, diverse and inspiring. After having released a remix and a own EP on our label, Patrick Podage is now ready to present you his track 'Resonate'. An amazing club track which did amazing on dance floors in the last months.

The remix of 'Resonate' is made by no one other then the very talented Atapy. Arpi Takacs (aka Atapy), addiction to electronic music started early, first as a regular freak in club corners and then behind the decks, developing his DJ skills. Since 2010, his career has been firmly on the rise with likes of M.A.N.D.Y., Ritchie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, Tom Budden, Djuma Soundsystem and many more, championing his highly desirous productions. Its all about quality and not quantity for Atapy, with previous key releases on his own Cimelde label and Get Physical, alongside his collaborations with (amongst others): Noir, Louisahhh!!! or Cari Golden; and reworking The XX and the legendary Knight Rider theme, here is an artist with both style and passion.

"Plastic Age EP" is the seventieth release on Loco Records. With this EP, the duo Karol XVII & MB Valence would like to welcome a New Year. Although it has taken a while to come out, many can say that it has been worth waiting for the three awesome tracks included in this release: "The Bar Around The Corner", "Simple Minds", and "Days Without You".

"The Bar Around The Corner" opens the entire EP. This tune is quite characteristic due to its unique punchy big room bass line combined with stabs of synth over the top line, delicate drums that get accompanied by a subtle piano riff which in turn adds a lot of flavour to the mysterious nature of the track.

"Simple Minds", which is the second track on the EP, starts calmly and then rolls out a steady driving rhythm with seductive grooves and deep, grumbling undertones. The deep chords of the piano together with female vocal interjections make a huge combination for the big room driving sound.

The final track "Days Without You" is full of bouncy basslines rolling underneath unique melodies and vocal stabs and the clever use of strange but deep textures and noises. Swinging hi-hat pattern, a punchy kickdrum hammering through, incredible fiddle pads with some deep synth shots and gated vocal glitches are all that get the track rolling.
